Francesca & Claudio were the best of hosts and our stay in the apartment was fantastic, we flew our children in for the week and the apartment was huge and more then adequate for the 5 of us. We HIGHLY recommend this place, it is about 100 meters from the train station and also close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely staynthere on our next trip to Roma. Firstly, my dealings with Roman Reference went very smoothly indeed, I would recommend Roman Reference as a tourist apartment letting agency. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Angelo Emo 147...it is so close to the metro, has a choice of two supermarkets close by, the neighbourhood is safe and has options for eating out and its so close to the Vatican...The apartment itself was perfectly spacious for our group of six, had every appliance you could need and would expect of a modern city apartment (except WIFI, which was mentioned on this website, however it does come with a cable that can connect to the internet alright but no wireless internet) and was clean (except for dusty floors) throughout. The only points I can fault the apartment on are the following: The person to call re keys etc should be Francesca as she speaks english, the contact person I was given could not understand me, which resulted in a 40min wait on the street outside the apartment while Francesca waited upstairs!...also the name B&B ColleVaticano was never mentioned at any stage of the reservation process yet this is the name that appears beside the doorbell: I would have rang this bell before having to wait the 40mins had I known....The street is quite noisy. Anyone used to sleeping with little or no noise from traffic should bring earplugs for a good night's sleep...There is a hospital nearby so we heard plenty of ambulances....One of the rooms in the apartment is actually an office for the B&B and has a separate entrance which should be made clear in the reservation info, we awoke to telephones and voices in the office on two or three of the mornings (they didnt stay long but it would have been nice to know there is an office inside the apartment - on a positive note, after check-out we were able to leave our luggage in the office until we were ready to collect them to go to the airport...a bonus!). Finally there was no info in the apartment telling us where to dispose of our garbage so we just used the large bins on the street outside. All in all we were very happy with the apartment and will recommend it to others....thanks Francesca and Roman Reference!

Two families with children (ages 3, 6, 8, 9 and 11); we were 9 in total. We stayed in this apartment for one week in early June and had a great experience. This is a spacious and very comfortable apartment. High quality. It is located across the street from the Valle Aurelia metro & train station and 15-20 min away (walk) from the Vatican. The supermarket and several restaurants are only 5 min. away. Grest location! The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and we also had access to the laundry room (very useful, especially with kids). We highly recommend this apartment!
