Great location with beautiful views in a peaceful area. Close enough to walk to everything you need from great restaurants, shops and beaches. No matter where you stay, you will encounter steps so enjoy the leg workout. We didn't spend much time in the house, but it fit our party of 8 perfectly and the place was much bigger than I expected and had a cool layout/architecture. The multi-level patios with the lemon tree canopy was amazing. It feels like a well loved family home in Italy. All amenities that we needed were provided. We were there in July. There was A/C in the 3 main bedrooms which worked great. The fourth bedroom didn't have A/C and could get hot during the day, but cooled down in the evening with the window open. We used the washing machine which worked great and loved drying our clothes on the patio line under the lemons. The hosts were very proactive and communicative. Reach out to them for recommendations early so they can help plan your trip. We would stay again!

I’ve stayed at a lot of rental apartments over the years and this has to rank as one of the absolute best. The location is impossible to beat - on a small street in the heart of Rome, very quiet (no noise in bedrooms at night), lots of room for multiple groups to stay in, and wonderful AC in the living room and even the bedrooms without an AC unit on the wall were cool with the door open. The kitchen is excellently outfitted and we enjoyed going up to the rooftop terrace. Seriously, book this place. It’s phenomenal, big, and wonderful for a family to recharge in between sites. A taxi stand is just down the street past the church (which is also beautiful inside). I would stay here in a heartbeat and constantly remarked “I could see myself living in this place.” On top of all that, they let us drop our luggage off early before heading to the Pantheon - excellent communication from Iryna (be sure to add them on what’s app with arrival details ahead of time). Thank you again!

What an amazing location and great hosts! Our family loved staying here - it was a short walk to everything, including incredible restaurants and markets. The major sites in Rome are all around the area and only a short bus ride to the Colosseum…honestly, we could have chosen a better space to be situated. Have the kids room upstairs was an added bonus, allowing us parents a good nights sleep. Communication with our hosts was always punctual and we were super grateful to have a late check out. Highly recommended!

It is rare to find a place like Guglielmo’s. This beautiful apartment is centrally located and astonishingly peaceful for its proximity to bustling areas. The apartment is well designed, efficient, clean and also delightfully cozy. It is the ideal perch for the traveler(s) looking for authentic, yet comfortable Roman accommodation. Guglielmo himself is the perfect host: responsive, attuned, and attentive. I immediately felt at ease upon walking in the door. I cannot recommend staying with Guglielmo enough - if I could give 6 stars, I would.

The location can’t be beat. The A/C was perfect even during the crazy July heat. Host was available and replies quickly. The space is very large and was perfect for our family!

Thanks for the stay. Left a 5 star review. As for feedback although we didn’t use the fridge, when opened there was a pretty foul odor, not sure if there is something wrong with it. No food was inside when we looked so I’m not sure! Everything else was great. Thanks once again

Great location close walking distance to lots of stores & restaurants & major attractions. Be aware there is a narrow winding staircase to get to the apartment on the 3rd floor and to access the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Anyone with mobility issues might have difficulty with this. Pascale was wonderful with communication, (she speaks English, Italian & french) & helpful information and stocking the basic necessities for the apartment.

The location was fantastic to explore all of the major sites of Rome by foot. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was quiet at night. The basic amenities of the apartment including the laundry, air con, and a comfortable bed with a small kitchenette were all great. Guglielmo was responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating throughout our stay!

This apartment has a perfect location right in Rome city center. Super close to major attractions like the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Space was clean and comfortable and good for groups of 5-6. Had a lovely stay.

Great neighborhood close to many landmarks. The house was more than enough for my family of five. Full bathroom is small, half bathroom is claustrophobic and needs updating. Communication was excellent, the water in the shower wasn’t draining and they came to fix it promptly. Best part was the location.

This apartment was conveniently located between the Vatican City and historic Rome landmarks. We enjoyed the local restaurants, and had a comfortable space to make small breakfasts in.

Consider labels on the light switches to make it easier to turn on/off lights. Also the table in front of the switch in the bedroom is a bit cumbersome. Nice place, thanks!

Guglielmo received us himself and gave us a very detailed tour like we are never gonna leave :) (which was a great gesture). The house is beautiful and well maintained, and has a very romantic vibe to it. There are great number amenities in the house. The house is located in a very vibrant area of trastevere and is walkable to most of the tourist spots. We had a lovely time. would highly recommend it!!

Logement très bien, comme sur les photos. Belle vue sur les coupoles de S.M. Maggiore qui est tout proche. Vaste séjour et chambre spacieuse. Agréable appartement proche de la gare Termini, d'un petit self-service et de la station de taxis sur la Piazza del Esquilino. Bon accueil et bonnes informations. Un petit minus: des escaliers à monter avant l'ascenseur. Un très bon séjour toutefois et nous y retournerons volontiers. 

Merci de nous avoir acceptés dans votre appartement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Bien accueillis par Iryna qui nous attendait à l'heure prévue. Dans l'ensemble, tout était très positif. De petits moins: nous avons trouvé le système d'éclairage dans la chambre presque impossible à utiliser malheureusement, et même Iryna avait des problèmes à nous montrer comment ca fonctionnait. Nous avons trouvé que la température de la douche était vraiment difficile à maintenir constante, avec risque de se brûler parfois. Mais dans l'ensemble, nous avons trouvé l'appartement bien agréable et nous y retournerons volontiers une prochaine fois. Grazie mille ! Merci Guglielmo!

The apartment is not only in the best possible location in Rome but also a reflection of an exquisite taste and style of the owner. Passion for art and respect for the spirit of Rome is evident everywhere. We felt truly at home with all things necessary for everyday life accessible and handy. The place is very airy, spacious and cool thanks to the excellent A/C system which cannot be under estimated in Rome in June. We were welcome in person by the Manager who explained all things we needed to know. I hope for another visit at Guglielmo`s place in the future.

The apartment is nicely decorated and has all the amenities one could need. It was squeaky clean, especially the bathroom. Location is excellent—steps away from the center of Trastevere (with tons of cafes, bars and restaurants) but also close to bus stops to move farther away. Trastevere can be noisy, but not the specific area where the apartment is located. Altogether an excellent place to spend a good time in Rome!

This stay was absolutely amazing! A perfect place for a small group (max 3) to visit Rome from the middle! While right in the middle of Centro Storico, the room offered privacy and quiet in the evenings. Truly so easy and would recommend to any group needing a fun and unique place to stay in Rome! As advertised, there is not really a kitchen, but there are enough utensils to make coffee, cut up fruit and cheese, and wash dishes. When in this central of a location you will want to be making use of the restaurants though. Guglielmo was also incredible! Meeting us when we arrived in town and offering a small walking tour of the neighborhood with local recommendations. Overall, would highly recommend!!! Thank you for a great and east stay!

Pier Guido's Rome apartment is spacious, centrally-located, beautifully-furnished and bright. It's a short walk from the train station and easy access to restaurants, cafes, and walking distance to all the major historical landmarks like the Colosseum, the Spanish steps, the Pantheon, and Trevi fountain. The apartment has a very convenient elevator that takes you to the penthouse floor--great if you have heavy luggage--and great views of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. There's a fabulous market outside the apartment where you can pick up cheese, meat, veggies, and fruit as well as souvenirs and clothes (in case you forgot something). Many cafes line the streets close to the apartment where you can grab a quick coffee and a bite in the morning. Great communication with the host. We loved our stay and will come back the next time we're in Rome!

Our summary is that we had a wonderful stay in this apartment and would recommend it. There are a few things worth mentioning. From a positive standpoint: Pascale is absolutely delightful hostess who made us immediately comfortable. Communication before our arrival was very easy. The location is A++. Literally on Campo de Fiori with grocery, restaurant, and gelato options literally around the corner. Balconies are a wonderful bonus. High-quality windows eliminate nearly all sound. From a cautionary standpoint: The kitchen is very small (closet sized) but adequate if you plan for very basic meals. There are 56 very narrow circular concrete steps up to the apartment (think castle turret) from the building entry. Any bag larger than a carry-on will be difficult it not impossible to get up the stairs. Once inside the apartment, there is another circular staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. Again, very difficult to navigate. And then another circular staircase outside to get from one balcony to the other. If you are a light packer who is in good health, this is definitely the apartment for you--you'll love it. If you have a larger checked bag, trouble navigating stairs, or get short of breath, this is not the best option.

This place worked perfectly for my needs: centrally located, yet in a quiet neighborhood (by Roman standards; some areas of Trastevere are packed with people on the streets; not this one), clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I only did light cooking (pasta, salads, etc.), and pretty much every day I had lunch at a lovely and extremely reasonable trattoria just a couple minutes away by foot. Guglielmo is a polite, thoughtful, responsive, nice person. When I needed to stay an extra night, he made it easy, and it was a pleasure to meet and speak with him. All in all, I was extremely happy with my stay and I hope to return.

Hi Guglielmo, the only think I thought to mention is that a microwave oven would have been nice. But for one person cooking lightly like me, the kitchen worked out fine. Everything worked out fine,
