CitiesReference.com network is the result of over a decade experience with vacation rentals of RomanReference. Over the years we felt that trust is key to make vacation rentals a viable alternative to hotels for most travelers. Nowadays the internet is crowded with large vacation rental listing websites which feature thousands of properties that they have never once visited of owners/managers they have never talked to, forget about meeting them. Vacation Rental by Owner is not really an alternative for the traveler who wants to keep on the safe side, best scenario the owner is a private person with too little at stake to make ends meet. We want to try a viable alternative.
How do we do that? First of all we do our best to meet all of the owners/managers of the apartments in person. This is clearly a big endeavour when working internationally over two Continents, yet we believe there is no better way to trust. The owners once listed have to comply with our terms and conditions and so the guests. Once home the guests are invited to always publicly post their feedback on the apartments. This, on our experience, creates a win/win mechanism of trasparence and trust which we believe makes everybody accountable for with our proactive help in case reconciliation is needed.

If you own a vacation rental apartment or a sublet in a World Capital you have every good reason to contact us. First of all your property will be listed for free. There is no monetary cost whatsoever to be listed in one of our Cities websites, you are only required to provide us with a detailed description and pictures of the apartment and to make a meeting at your rented apartment with us possible at the first availabe option. We have or will set up a dedicated website for your own city. This is an important plus as opposed to all inclusive websites. We will meet and listen to you, our software is very flexible and generally can accommodate each single owner business practises and promotions.
