On recommande vivement.

Bonjour Pascale, Merci encore pour cet agréable séjour. Nous sommes ravis. Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir. Cordialement. Laurent et Tiphaine

The place is as described and shown in photos. Very well maintained and extremely clean. The hosts are very responsive and super helpful. The house was well stocked with all amenities and even had a welcome wine bottle and coffee, milk, breakfast items etc to munch on. The location is excellent as it’s extremely safe and walking distance to Spanish steps, piazza Navona and Fontana de Trevi. The hosts are very helpful and went out of their way to help us with luggage and arranging a taxi for us on checkout. The only caveat is the stairs that you have to climb to get to the apartment. It’s a very small staircase with around 55 steps to climb and if you have a big suitcase, it’s tricky to move it up the stairs.

We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank you for helping us out with the checkout/ luggage and arranging a taxi for us to the train station.

Fabulous host. Especially nice to have tea bags, coffee, oil, vinegar, milk, butter, jams etc left for our use. Supremely helpful - eg with hints and tips for taxis/journey from airport. And very accommodating - leaving our bags until noon meant we had an extra super morning hassle free before leaving for home.

What an amazing location and great hosts! Our family loved staying here - it was a short walk to everything, including incredible restaurants and markets. The major sites in Rome are all around the area and only a short bus ride to the Colosseum…honestly, we could have chosen a better space to be situated. Have the kids room upstairs was an added bonus, allowing us parents a good nights sleep. Communication with our hosts was always punctual and we were super grateful to have a late check out. Highly recommended!

Great location close walking distance to lots of stores & restaurants & major attractions. Be aware there is a narrow winding staircase to get to the apartment on the 3rd floor and to access the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Anyone with mobility issues might have difficulty with this. Pascale was wonderful with communication, (she speaks English, Italian & french) & helpful information and stocking the basic necessities for the apartment.

Our summary is that we had a wonderful stay in this apartment and would recommend it. There are a few things worth mentioning. From a positive standpoint: Pascale is absolutely delightful hostess who made us immediately comfortable. Communication before our arrival was very easy. The location is A++. Literally on Campo de Fiori with grocery, restaurant, and gelato options literally around the corner. Balconies are a wonderful bonus. High-quality windows eliminate nearly all sound. From a cautionary standpoint: The kitchen is very small (closet sized) but adequate if you plan for very basic meals. There are 56 very narrow circular concrete steps up to the apartment (think castle turret) from the building entry. Any bag larger than a carry-on will be difficult it not impossible to get up the stairs. Once inside the apartment, there is another circular staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. Again, very difficult to navigate. And then another circular staircase outside to get from one balcony to the other. If you are a light packer who is in good health, this is definitely the apartment for you--you'll love it. If you have a larger checked bag, trouble navigating stairs, or get short of breath, this is not the best option.

Pascale is a great host! He was at the apartment to welcome us when we reached there. He gave us a detailed tour of the apartment and also provided us with detailed information about the best restaurants nearby. The apartment was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The roof terrace offers a striking view with a direct line of sight to the dome of Stain Peters' Basilica

Puedes llegar andando a cualquier lugar turístico. Guglielmo es un anfitrión genial.

Muchas gracias Guglielmo, hemos pasado unos días geniales.

This apartment is in a great central location. The space was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed from linens & towels to coffee & cooking supplies. We were especially grateful for the air conditioning during the hot summer days. The host was very helpful and communicated clearly. The staircases are small and narrow but this was clearly reflected in the listing. We loved the double-level terrace as well, where you can look out across the rooftops and duomos of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience city life in Rome. Don't forget to visit the excellent wine bar right across the street!

Thank you for your assistance with our check-in, we had a lovely stay! The mattress topper on the large bed (first-level) was extremely comfortable. We found the two small beds upstairs to be less comfortable, they might benefit from toppers as well.

We could not have been happier with our stay in this apartment. Pascale was an amazing host who made us feel at home and helped us with some complex travel arrangements to leave Rome. The location was fantastic with everything in walking distance, including the very vibrant and fabulous Square de Fiore. And the icing on the cake, the stunning roof terrace. Don't underestimate getting up the spiral staircase with suitcases, but it will be worth it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

thank you so much, especially for the warm welcome and assistance with the airport transfers

Staying at Pascale's place was wonderful. The location is perfect, close to many of the main attractions at Rome, its surrounded by good restaurants and services. Pascale was very nice when receiving us, she made us feel really comfortable at home and shared good information about the city, I can tell she was by far the best host I've ever met whilst travelling with airbnb. Hopefully we'll come back to stay there again :) The only "downside" are the steep and narrow stairs to get to the apartment, but the quality of the house and surroundings surely compensate that. Bear in mind that if you have mobility issues this may not be a place for you.

Pascale e Guglielmo, siete stati veramente carini, tanti grazie per ospitarci a casa vostra. Vi auguro molta gioia! Arrivederci!

Fantastic place within easy walking of many of the major sights in Rome as well as the market, and many shops and restaurants. The private rooftop terrace is also a nice feature and great place to unwind at the end of the day. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The apartment was clean and located in a great area. Just steps away from the bustling Campo de Fiori market and countless amazing ristorante and gelateria. Everything Rome has to offer is within a 20-25 minute walk. The host was extremely responsive, and we had no trouble connecting with Alessandro at check in. We were very thankful to be able to leave our bags at the apartment upon arrival, even though we arrived earlier than the check in time.

We stayed for three nights in the middle of August, when the temperature outside was 38-40 degrees. The apartment was fantastic, lovely and cool but with the option of a shaded terrace or the roof terrace. In the evening sipping a glass on the roof terrace with a book listening to Rome bustle around was brilliant, and the view over the rooftops was fabulous. The apartment is centrally located, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The spiral stairs up to the apartment and within it are tight, so I would suggest not suitable for low mobility individuals, but the character they add is great. The locality has markets, gelato shops and some really great restaurants. As a host the owners were fantastic, they organised private cars to transport us to and from the airport which went off without a hitch, and responded swiftly to any questions we asked. We are looking forward to going back again!! Thank you for a fabulous base for our stay.

Loved it, thanks for the stay and particularly for organising the cars, that was such a help. Matt

This place was amazing! Perfect location, with a beautiful roof terrace with views of multiple cathedral domes. The host was very kind and thoughtful, and had even stocked the apartment with fresh fruit from the market and a lovely bottle of wine, so we were able to settle right in and relax after a long day of travel. The apartment was cool, quiet, and comfortable, with shutters that let us control the light and really helped with getting over jet lag. Our kids loved the spiral staircases and getting to have their own space. Absolutely everything was wonderful and we would love to stay here again the next time we visit Rome. Grazie per tutto!

Really everything was wonderful - grazie mille!

The property was perfect as was the location. Stairs take some getting used to, but we did it. The proprioter, Pascale was very attentive and rescued one of our party by forwarding left behind clothing to our next location. I would highly reccomend this property and would gladly rent it again.

We loved this apartment. The location is ideal, and the hosts very kind and responsive. We also received help coordinating airport transfer, which was very helpful. We stayed a few places during our stay and found it difficult to arrange taxis without the host's assistance. We were very appreciative of this. The rooftop terrace is not to be missed! It was beautiful. Note, getting to the apartment you will take a few flights of narrow winding stairs, and the same is true for the second bedroom and then the terrace. That said, we are able bodied and willing to do it for the experience. Would stay again.

Thank you for sharing your apartment with us, we enjoyed it! Our one suggestion is to get new and/or secondary pillows in the main bedroom or a headboard. We found that without a headboard the pillows would fall between the bed and wall, and one of us got a sore neck one night because we fell asleep without realizing we lost a pillow to the floor :). Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Our family of 6 stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved the location! A minute walk to Campo di Fiori with its daily market and very good family friendly restaurants— we had no idea just how perfect the location would be! Super walkable and less than 5 minutes to a Taxi stand too. The host was so lovely and helpful with restaurant recommendations and booking a car for the airport since we had an early morning flight. She also provided some fresh fruit, milk and wine which was a lovely treat after a full day of travel. The terrace was a beautiful retreat! The stairs up to the apartment and then the top floor are narrow so as long as you are good with that it’s a truly wonderful place to call home! I’ve already told friends to book here!

We had 10 wonderful days there in September. The location is centralized and very convenient. The apartment itself was clean and spacious, with two very pleasant outdoor patios overlooking the cityscape. The area is busy and noisy but the building is well-insulated and the windows are new, which also helps with climate control. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Book with confidence but don’t bring a huge suitcase as it might not fit going up the narrow main entry. We hope to visit here again!

Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Super cool apartment and perfect location in Roma! Great apartment for the family with space for everyone. Our host was very accommodating and super easy to communicate with. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and the roof decks were spectacular. Truly a special and very authentic Roman experience. The stair to get to the unit is very small and steep, but it was worth taking it to get to the quiet and relaxing place.

Our stay at the apartment met our expectations and above. Pascale was very friendly and helpful even before our arrival, then met us for a 4am check in (unfortunately…) without any complains. The apartment is clean and comfortable, has the best rooftop, very typical Roman and located in a central and beautiful area. We highly recommend it and we hope to be back someday. Thank you Pascale

What a gem of a place! A fantastic base to explore Rome from. A great roof terrace to relax on. Super quiet rooms to sleep well in. In the heart of Rome and it feels like we're out in the country at the same time. We'll be back!

Very nice apartment. Beautiful roof top patio was wonderful in the evening. My only warning is that there are tight spiral stairs throughout. Someone who is big or has trouble climbing may have a problem with this place.

We loved this historic and charming spot in the heart of the Campo. So easy to shop at the market and visit the incredible nearby dining spots. The owner helped us organize a car from the airport and was very accommodating. The stairs to the 4th floor helped us wear off the many plates of pizza and pasta. We were also very enchanted with the garden on the rooftop. Quintessential Rome!!

We loved our stay in Rome and hope to be back. It was very special to stay in such an original location with historic touches. I loved how much life takes place on the rooftops of the city. Pascale and Alessio were charming! Fantastic stay.

While we are relatively fit and small of stature, I am not sure the tiny sets of stairs are made clear. While it worked for us might be problematic for others.

We loved being in the heart of the market space but it can be slightly noisy late at night and early in the morning.

I stayed here with my parents and we had a fantastic time. The apartment was clean and well equipped and was really lovely, like in the pictures. The terrace was fantastic and had such beautiful evening sun and was exactly what we wanted. The hosts were very nice and helpful with recommendations and small touches to make us feel welcome and the location was perfect for us to explore Rome on foot. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back!

The apartment is located in a great spot for visiting Rome’s main attractions, which we did on foot with children. The host organised transport from the airport which was very well organised. Siting on the roof terrace late evening with a glass of wine was the perfect end to a long day

Pascale was a great host. She was very communicative and helpful. The place is charming and a bit cozy, which seems typical for the part of Rome where the home is located. The house is a bit dated, but that is part of its charm and personality. The spiral stairs up to the unit is quite challenging to navigate with lots of baggage... but even the stairs add to the character of the place. The only thing that would make the place less desirable for some is if you like to cook. The kitchen is super tight with older, cheaper appliances and amenities. This was the main downside for us. Otherwise, considering the nature of the unit (in an old part of Roma next to Campo de Fiori), it is in great condition. We had a great time and enjoyed the charm of this home. Pascale was helpful and welcoming throughout the entire process. She welcomed us with wine, toast, jams/preserves and some fresh fruit

Highly recommend staying at Guglielmo's apartment in Rome. It is in the best location, walking distance to everything and the views on the balcony and rooftop are incredible. We watched the sunrise over Campo de Fiori from the rooftop the first morning there and will remember that forever. The communication and hospitality were amazing. If we ever return to Rome we would stay here in a heartbeat!

Thank you so much, this was our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in!

Our host was delightful. She prepared the rooms. Left some wonderful peaches and a bottle of wine along with some other basic supplies. At the end of the trip, she arranged for a car service to the airport. She also gave us a short history on the building and the area. The location is amazing. You’re right in some active neighborhoods. Lots of restaurants and shops. There is a local market around the corner where you can get fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, and flowers, as well as clothes and other memorable items. While there are plenty of tourists, there are also many ‘regular people’ going about their business. Families. Students. Embassy staff. A nice change from the mobs of tourists and hawkers at the Colosseum, Forum or Trevi Fountian. The apartment has two nice roof decks. We used the upper one every night to enjoy the views of Rome at night. There are lots of plantings with some nice rooftop furniture to sit on. The kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied. The main staircase is a set of spiral stairs made of stone – which is an incredible experience of a much older building in which sits the modern apartment. The only challenge is the spiral staircases to the apartment and then to the roof. Be prepared to walk up three flights of stairs with your luggage. If that’s not a problem, you will have a great location in Rome. There is even AC, which is wonderful in the summer heat.

This apartment in Rome was absolutely perfect for our stay! I was traveling in Italy with 5 of my friends and the apartment was the perfect size. Pascale was always very quick to respond, like when we couldn’t figure out the washing machine, and left thoughtful touches like fresh apricots and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. The apartment was fully stocked with plenty of towels and everything we might need, including coffee. The two levels of terraces made our stay even more enjoyable as we were able to lay in the sun in the comfort of our home and enjoy wine at sunset. The location couldn’t have been better, right next to a fresh market and great shopping. The nightlife was great too! Bars and restaurants within ten minutes. Thank you so much to Pascale for making our stay in Rome one we will never forget!

Wonderful little apartment, somewhat hard to find at first but the location is unbelievable, close to everything! Hosts are extremely helpful and communication was great. The tiny round staircases were a bit difficult to navigate but added to the charm of the place! All amenities were there, nice touch of a bottle of wine, fresh strawberries and toast and jam for breakfast. The two terraces provided some unforgettable moments of relaxation after a day of sightseeing! It was nice that we could go down from the terrace to our lower level bedroom via a separate staircase, so we did not have to bother our friend who was sleeping in the upper level bedroom.

Stairs! Sixty very narrow winding steps to get to the the flat, then incredibly narrow metal stairs to get to the upper bedroom and first terrace and even narrower metal stairs to get the second terrace on the roof. The second and third sets of stairs are so small that carrying anything up and down is nearly impossible. It was excellent being up on top of the building when you actually managed to make the trek. We live in the mountains and love to climb, just not while trying to carry tea and a croissant!

The home is located in an old part of town close to Campo de Fiori and Ponte Sisto. Five minute walk to Trastavere. 15 minutes walk to sites like Pantheon, Trevi Ftn. Not particularly close to any Metro stops, so you'll have take taxi or the bus to get from train station to the house. Bus stop nearby takes you to Colosseum. Nice place, 55 narrow, stone steps up circular staircase to a cozy apartment with a great two-tiered rooftop patio with a view of St. Peters basilica. The effort is definitely worth it. Apartment is quiet, clean. Pascale met us at the apartment, recommended bread shop grocery store, and arranged a driver to the airport for our last day. We'd definitely stay here again.

This is the most charming apartment. Primarily due to the two fantastic terracces (of which one is a rooftop), but also the location next to Campo de' Fiore is perfect. There are only few hundred meters to Trastevere, Pantheon, Pz. Navona etc.

The apartment it self may not be the most modern, but Its genuine and functional. Disabled people will definately have problems with the many extremely narrow stairs - but to everybody else, it's just charming and unique.

Finally the owner, Pascale, is absolutely fantastic. Upon arrival a chilled whitewine, fresh flowers etc. had been prepared. She was extremely helpful and kind and easy to contact.

We would definately consider this apartment again.

The apartment is perfect for a short or long stay in Rome. The location couldn't be better. You can walk to all the main sites from there. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need (make espresso, prepare food, open a bottle of wine, do laundry, etc), and the 2 terraces were amazing and made a great place to relax or have cafe/breakfast. Guglielmo and Pascale were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is awesome!

Staying at the apt we were a family of 4 adults and 2 children ranging in age from 8-70 years old.  We loved the apartment.  The owner was wonderfully accommodating and always responded to any questions in a very timely fashion before our arrival and during the stay.  The environment was very welcoming and clean, and the location was great.  The outdoor terrace was such a fun gathering spot!  If climbing narrow spiral staircases is an issue for you, you might need to reconsider this apt.  For us, it fit right in with all the walking and climbing we did in Rome, and, of course, the children loved them!

Tolle Wohnung! Also, wir würden immer wieder hinfahren!

My family of four absolutely enjoyed this charming apartment!  It is right next to daily outdoor market where you can pick up supplies for any meal.  At night the square transforms into a hotspot for music and people.  It can be a little noisy but the apartment has noise blocking windows and when you want quiet, just close the windows! The stairs are a little daunting but manageable and we enjoyed both patios.  Centrally located and easy walking to most of the city.  Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is just great.. it's big, cozy and comfortable for 3-4 people. Absolutely perfect location to travel around and visit most places and attractions by foot. As it is in an old building with a small staircase it can be not the best option for elderly travellers. The patio on the roof is fantastic with an amazing view on Rome! I have stayed at Guglielmo's apartment with my girlfriend and I made her a proposal in this romantic place at sunset :)) Definitely would go there to celebrate our anniversary!

Great place. There is no lift for those who are not mobile but I personally loved the tight spiral staircase - a lot of character and charm. The roof top terrace was the highlight - beautiful views. We love this apartment! Our daily routine was getting latte from Angelo at Bar Farnese, visiting the bakery next door, buying fresh fruit and cheese at Campo de' Fiori, then having breakfast on the terrace.  We'd sightsee all day, with everything being an easy walk from the apartment, then return for antipasto and wine on the terrace in the early evening, then out again for evening walks and dinners.  The apartment was spacious, charming and comfortable. Pascale was an incredibly gracious and helpful host, and we look forward to returning.

We stayed here during our visit to Rome last week. The apartment was centrally located, and we were able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. The owner was very sweet and helpful. She helped us get transportation from the airport and to the train station, and also left a binder with restaurant recommendations and maps. She also purchased fruit, wine, jams, tea, and coffee for us to enjoy during our stay. The apartment was just as charming as it looks in the pictures and located very close to a plaza where there is a market during the day and street performers. There are also many nearby restaurants. We ate at several restaurants at the plaza for breakfast and dinner and they were all delicious. One warning, because this apartment is located in the heart of Rome, there is a lot of noise from a bar across the street by at night. I used earplugs and was able to sleep easily.

Had a wonderful stay in this apartment.  This was a great opportunity to live in a quiet Roman neighborhood.  Our host and hostess were extraordinarily gracious.   The accommodations were lovely and very well maintained.  By the end of the visit, we considered this our home.  We regretted having to depart.  Consider a longer stay.  Maybe move here and buy the place from them. I might!

Older folks may have trouble with the circular stairs.  Our party (aged 45, 45 & 15) had no difficulty, but we would have been less comfortable with parents in tow.

Recommendtions in the area from Pascale for meals etc proved to be excellent.

Excellent location..Delightful apartment  with 2 stunning terraces...Charming owner who was more than helpful....
Only slight downside was the steep, marble, spiral, staircase to climb (55 steps) with no handrail and very narrow.
Would highly recommend if you are in reasonably good shape and don't suffer from any type of vertigo.

We stayed for a week in this very nice apartment, a family group of 4 adults. The apartment is compact but comfortable, and the terraces are wonderful. The AC worked well -- a big plus as the weather was very hot for part of our stay. The photos in the listing provide an accurate view of the various spaces. As other reviewers have noted, the stairs up to the flat, and from one level to another, are very narrow, so be prepared and bring a small suitcase!  The location is very central to many shops, restaurants and historic sites. That's generally positive, but it also means noise throughout the day --  market vendors early in the morning, and crowds in the cafes late into the night. Overall this was a great home base for our first visit to Rome.

We spend 5 nights in this wonderful apartment - two couples and a baby - and all had a great stay. The roof terrace is excellent for drinks and dinner with great views of the area (you can even see skt.Peter in the distance). It is super central so we walked everywhere and the market in Campo Dei Fiori just 100 m away provide amble opportunity for grocery shopping and people watching - and there are plenty of good places to dine. On sunny weekend nights it might be a bit noisy, and the staircase is super narrow so leave behind the oversize suitcases ( we managed fine with a umbrella stroller and normal size suitcases). Have recommended this apartment for everyone at home.
