The entrance to the house is a historic entrance of a house in 1600, is therefore particularly as historic!

Hello Artur, are Gio, the owner. I'm sorry you've found the house dirty, I think it is really the first time this has happened. I will also try to understand what happened. I'm sorry because usually all my guests had positive comments. Thanks anyway for the comment and reporting, very important to me. Thu

Unfortunately, our first impressions were not good. We were "confronted" by the welcomer. We felt that we were more like intruders and did not feel welcome. In fact the word "welcome" was not once used. The hallway is dark and not clean. The apartment is on the first floor and the bedroom is well located at the rear of the apartment away from the noise of the street.
We had to insist on having a change of sheets while we were there. Likewise only hand towels were provided. Later, the sheets and towels were brought, but it was insisted that this was really exceptional and we should email our gratitude to the owner.
Our questions regarding keys, wi-fi, security were not dealt with well. We thought it best not to ask any more.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday from this apartment. Too bad it got off to a bad start.

Danke der Nachfrage.
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön , der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm.
Noch ein paar kleine konstruktive Verbesserungsvorschläge:
1. Geschirrspültücher wären gut, ebenso wie
2. Handtuchhalter im Bad und
3. Wäscheklammern um Wäsche aufhängen zu können.
Ansonsten alles wunderbar.
Grazie!

The apartment had several things in its favor: the location is excellent, right next to a fountain which has a lot of atmosphere, especially in the evenings when people collect around it for a glass of wine or beer. The street itself has little shops selling everything from grocery, wine, cheese, gelatos and breaks/cakes. There are a couple of good eating places close by too, in the streets behind. The via Cavour metro station is close-by (which came in handy when we had to go to the Vatican). Most of the ancient city is within 2 kms of walking - which we prefered doing to taking a bus.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean. Enough kitchenware and plates. It was good to have a electric kettle and microwave too. A couple of wine glasses would have been good though. :)
The key holder spoke English and arrived on time to welcome us in. We also appreciated the encrypted wifi network which had good bandwidth. Lighting in the rooms were good too.
On one minor downside, on colder days (when you are not allowed to use the heater in Rome), the rooms can get chilly, since they don't get sunlight. But this can be a positive during the warmer days.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to a small family who intend to live here for a week or two, cook a few times and want to walk around the ancient city.

The apartment is spotless and the owner seems to take great care to the details.
Totally recommended
