Charming and quiet apartment situated in the heart of Trastevere in a strategic location near Piazza Belli and the Tiber, near the historic city center and a 10-minute walk from St. Peter. It is on the first floor with elevator in a building. The apartment is bright and overlooking the rooftops of Rome and the windows on ancient wall of the firemen of ancient Rome. It consists of a bedroom, a kitchen living space, a shower bathroom and a study.  It’s air-conditioned and equipped with all the amenities. In the master bedroom there is a plasma TV, a large wardrobe and two bedside tables with possibility of adding 2 single extra beds for other 2 persons, or for childrens in tow. The kitchen is equipped with sink, gas machine with 4 burners and a traditional oven, large fridge with a freezer built inside. The washing machine is located in a specially dedicated  space. The apartment has an autonomous  heating system and is also air conditioned. It is close to restaurants, bars, pubs, pizzerias, pharmacy, banks and shops of all kinds. New Internet connection with WI-FI is also provided. Another important  feature  is that the apartment is located right next to the tram line 8 (stop Belli / Sonnino) that in a few minutes will take you to Piazza Venezia on the one hand and on the other, to the Stazione Trastevere. We are confident of being able to offer our guests a comfortable and pleasant stay to enjoy Rome to the fullest!

About Rome
When you visit Rome you can admire  the majestic and old  buildings of the Imperial Age  like the Coliseum, the Pantheon , the Paleo-Christian Basilicas , the medieval bell towers, the renaissance Campidoglio Square, the baroque fountains, the eighteenth-century steps of Trinità dei Monti (Spanish Steps)  and the spectacular Trevi’s Fountain. About Trastevere
Trastevere means “across the Tiber” . This medieval area is located  on the west bank  of the Tiber river. Part of historical centre of Rome, Trastevere is the perfect place while  together with the old history you can enjoy today's Romans amusement. From the cobblestone streets to the overhanging laundry lines, senses are pleasantly  awakened with every  step you take  in this bohemian neighborhood  that is middle way from the Coliseum and the Vatican. Trastevere is an ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican City are about twenty minutes away and  just crossing the Tiber you get to Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona , Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti (the Spanish Steps) , the Foro Romano, and many other sights, in few minutes at all (15 to 30 minutes walk). If you want  to take public transportation, the area is well served both by tram and by buses. The district  becomes very lively at night as it is full of trendy bars and lots of good restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste Great Italian Food at reasonable prices. Trastevere is definitely  one of Rome's most typical and charming quarters, being a sort of village within a city. 

Our guests can enjoy the history of  the "Ancient Rome", walking through the old streets of Trastevere, which are full of shops, bars, restaurants and pubs and lot of people during the night.
Here you will find many restaurants where you can enjoy genuine traditional Roman cuisine, or drink a typical "Prosecco" as an aperitif before dinner.
After a fun night,  our guests can relax in a quiet and comfortable place, as our apartment without being disturbed by outside noise.
The apartment is located in a place very well connected by public transport and also a few minutes walk from Trastevere Station (1.5 km.), St. Peter (1 km.), Campo dei Fiori (300 meters), Piazza Navona (300 meters) Coliseum (2 km.).
Do not miss:
A walk on the Janiculum hill for a breathtaking 360 ° view of the city; “Fontanone”  of the Acqua Paola, Bramante's Tempietto of San Pietro in Montorio (built on the site where, according to tradition, the Apostle Peter was crucified); the Basilica and the Catacombs of San Pancrazio; within walking distance Villa Doria Pamphili to dive in square kilometers of greenery.

House Rules
For us it is very important to know in advance the arrival time of the guests to be able to better organize check-in and reception. The keys are delivered at check-in. Bath towels, bed and kitchen, are provided to guests as well as detergents and bath soaps. We kindly ask to respect  silence, especially during the night. The use of the television and music devices is allowed only if at low volume; children up to 3 years old are free of charge. 

The apartment is completely independent, all surfaces and services are at exclusive use by  the guests who have booked. No space is shared with others.

We look forward to welcoming our guests  at check-in and be able to support them with all the information about the city, transports and transfers. On request we can arrange a pick-up / transfer from and to the airports of Ciampino / Fiumicino and the various stations (Termini, Tiburtina, Trastevere).
From Ciampino € 40 fare for 1 or 2 people; Fiumicino fare : € 55 one to 4 people.

How to reach our apartment:
From LEONARDO DA VINCI – FIUMICINO by  taxi, or:
Regional train FR1 Fiumicino Airport - Stazione Trastevere.
Departures every 15 '. Journey time of 30 '. Tickets cost € 8,50.
Go out of Trastevere station square, then turn left and cross the street to get to the tramway.
Take tram number 8, direction VENEZIA for 6 stops and get off at BELLI/SONNINO stop, walk back 50 meters to Piazza Sonnino 25.
Tram frequency :  every 4 minutes.
From Ciampino Airport, by taxi, or:
Bus COTRAL / SCHIAFFINI or bus / shuttle Terravision
Ciampino Airport - Termini Station
Departures every 50'. Journey time: 45 '.
Arrival of the bus at Via Giolitti 12/14. Drive about 300 meters and reach Piazza dei Cinquecento in front of Termini station and take line H (CAPASSO direction)  and get off at the SONNINO/SAN GALLICANO stop. Walk back 50 meters to Piazza Sonnino 25. Bus Frequency : every 15 minutes. Tickets cost € 1.5.
BY TRAIN:
from Termini Station
Exit the station and reach the square in front of the bus terminal and take line H (CAPASSO direction) and get off at SONNINO / SAN GALLICANO stop. Walk back 50 meters to Piazza Sonnino 25
Bus frequency : every 15 minutes. Tickets cost € 1.5.
 
Check-in / check-out times
Agreed with guests in advance by mail; generally check in by 14:00 and check out by 12:00. Different times should be agreed in advance, at the time of booking.
