Das 14. ist ein sehr charakteristisches Stadtviertel im alten Paris. Rue du Moulin Vert ist eine ruhige Strasse, z.T. als Fussgaengerzone in unmittelbarer Naehe. Die Metrohaltestelle "Alesia" ist nicht weit entfernt und wichtige Buslinien wie die 28, 38 und 58 sind direkt um die Ecke. Ebenso ein Stop fuer Fahrraeder ist ganz in der Naehe. Ein Markt, viele Geschaefte , Supermarkt, Restaurents und Theater sind fusslaeufig zu erreichen. Sehenswueridgkeiten in der Umgebung sind La Fondation Cartier, der Cimetiere du Montparnasse und der Park Montsouris.
Die Wohnung wurde von den bedeutenden Kuenstlern Fernand Leger, Edouard Pignon und Francesco del Drago als Atelier benutzt.

Bitte beachten Sie auch, dass eine der zwei Doppelbetten etwas alt und nicht komfortabel für ein oder zwei Erwachsene, sollte es als ein Bett nur für junge Menschen anzusehen ist (da meine Kinder sind glücklich, dort zu schlafen, aber ich würde lieber nicht) . Auch die zwei Sofabetten teilen das Wohnzimmer und vom Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss muss man durch das Wohnzimmer übergeben nach unten, um zur Toilette zu gehen, so dass, wenn Sie sind mehr als nur ein paar und Datenschutz ist ein Thema, Sie werden hier avisiert ;)

Heutzutage ist es ein recht zentralen Bereich sehr gut mit dem Rest der Stadt mit allen Arten von Veranstaltungsorten und attracions verbunden
Öffentlicher Verkehr
Sehr gute Anbindung zum Flughafen Paris Orly (max 20 € mit dem Taxi) oder dem RER-Zug vom Flughafen Charles de Gaulle. U-Bahnstation in der Nähe.
Flughafen Paris-Orly ist nur 15min mit dem Taxi (15 bis 20 €) oder Sie können den Orlybus bis Denfert Rocherau nehmen und dann zu Fuß 10 Minuten.
In der Nähe der Metrostation Alesia aparment (ein Block) Linie 4, die durch Saint Germain, Les Marais usw. Bus geht stoppen 28, 38, 58 alle durch die Hauptattraktion Bereichen.
Es gibt auch eine Vélib 'stop' um die Ecke. Biken auf Sain Germain ist 10min, auf Les Marais 15min. In etwa gleich mit dem Bus.

El apartamento es muy cómodo y amplio; cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La cocina es pequeña como se muestra en las fotos pero se puede preparar comidas ligeras :) La ducha es un poco incomoda y el toilet está ubicado la primera planta. El barrio es muy lindo y lleno de muchas opciones de comida, hay mercados y estación de metro muy cerca. Guglielmo estuvo muy atento a mis solicitudes, siempre respondió muy rápido

A charming apartment, full of character, in a nice part of Paris. It was close to a metro line with useful connections to visit the city. For two of us, it was perfect, and I would happily visit again. Michelle, the key holder, was very helpful and accommodating.

Quiet and sympathetic neighbourhood, interesting architecture: studio's, notre dame du travail (iron church). Marche aux puces Porte de Vanves, fondation Cartier (blv Raspail)
Parc Monsouris, the lovely square Montsouris, The buildings of the cite universitaire etc. etc. We'll soon come back to Paris!

A sweet apartment with lofty windows in great location for metro, cafes and local flea markets! My criticisms are small some more lighting near the sofas and pls allow extra cash for the heating if cold weather - great boiler but costs can rack up.

I will add some lighting I do agree there can be more options, although I personally like it this way, it won't cost me much to add more lamps just in case. 50euro allowance per week of heating should be plenty, it allows 6/8 hours a day, seems pretty fair to me, if you want more you pay the use, no extra gaining for me.

Reservation was hassle free and emails were replied very promptly. The apartment was great - compact, cosy and clean. It was obvious that the kind property owner tried in all ways to provide a comfortable stay as there were lots of towels, new plates and utensils as well as bedsheets and linens. Location is excellent, being minutes away from Metro station, Monoprix, bakery and Chinese food! The only downside as mentioned by many others is the bathtub which is a bit small for shower. That aside, we strongly recommend this place!

On the other hand we are repainting the apartment and the ceiling just now. We do strive to keep it fresh but bath tub and sinks we've kept the original ones as a reminder that this once was a painters' atelier in Paris. A major one!

L'appartement était très bien placé, très bien agencé, dans un quartier calme mais avec toutes les commodités à moins de 200 mètres (metro, supermarché, fast food, cafés, boulangerie et restaurants). nous avons passé un excellent séjour ma fille et moi. Un conseil, il vaut mieux y aller avec plusieurs petits baggages plutôt qu'un grand, car l'appart se trouve au 3è sans ascenceur et les escaliers sont étroits. Très spacieux pour Paris, il peut contenir 4-5 pers. Propre, lumineux et l'accueil a été des plus ponctuels et agréables. je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner.

This former artist's workshop is a lovely place to stay in Paris. It is well located, clean, bright and cheery. Cities Reference is a good company to work with. Michelle was very helpful in getting us settled in the apartment. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Overall this was a good experience for me. I already knew and liked the neighborhood (Montparnasse) which is full of wonderful bakeries, cafes, restaurants and shopping of all sorts. It is truly one of the most pleasant neighborhoods of Paris. The studio itself is fine but has real drawbacks - some of which the owner seems ready to deal with. The apartment needs somewhere comfortable to sit - at the very least some chairs that are not straight backed dining room chairs. It could have a slightly more functional kitchen (there's a hot plate with two burners and a microwave) with, at the very least, a toaster and a bread knife. A fan would have been nice.
All in all it's a good choice either for a single person or a couple who do not intend to do any cooking besides making coffee or tea and eating the croissants etc. they've bought in the neighborhood. A little effort to upgrade the facilities would make it perfect for a longer stay.

We are struggling to get another sofa-bed, that we already paid and bought, into the apartment. It's not fitting through the narrow stairs so we are trying to arrange another way to get it there. Either way there will soon be more comfortable seating space in the living. Thanks for the tip we do agree.

The flat is located in the 14ème arrondissement in Paris, close to Gare Montparnasse, which is very good central place in Paris. The street is quiet and the neighborhood very friendly. The flat is romantic and well equipped to stay for a week-end or for a longer trip as I did. What I loved is the typical flair of a Paris apartment with a beautiful old bathtub and a very nice floor. I recommend it for everybody who would like to live in a nice location close to many shops and one of the best backery in the city!

We love this place! Great location in Paris, metro, bakery, supermarket, restaurants conveniently around the corner so you get to feel how local people live. The apartment unit is exactly the same in photos - loved high ceiling, old tub, tiny kitchen and especially birds singing every evening. It really felt special not as ordinary hotel stay. Beds where comfortable although if taller than 1.8 probably would be bit short -than you have sofa downstairs. Kitchen is small but has everything to cook simple food as pasta, rice etc. Loved nearby Rue Daguerre with food shops and restaurants. Travel light with smaller bags cause unit is on 3rd floor with spiral narrow stairs. It was easy to check in and out and very friendly host. We will come back.

Living at rue de moulin vert made my stay in Paris a true french experience. The ambiance of this cozy, well designed artist flat lifts you in the "french mood" immediately. Especially the unique bedroom as well as the "old fashined" bath tub gives you the impression of being in a different world...... and when you walk over the beautiful wooden parquet you can sense that this place has been hosted by good people only.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. We had Christmas in Paris and the apartment was perfect. The location was great being just a block from the Metro and near a wonderful corner bakery, The apartment is clean and bright and has Paris charm. I would recommend this apartment to everyone. Michelle was wonderful and waiting for us to arrive to give us the key and answer any questions we had. Very sweet woman and speaks English very well. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Very nice apartment. Good location in a very good area (there are many shops , minimarket, cinema , restaurant) . Strategical position with stop Alesia at 5 minutes by walk (line 4 , one of main lines).
The apartment is "parisienne" ! anyway for young people is ok , the bathroom can rapresent a little problem for someone (for us not so much) because there is no classical shower , but bath tub. Moreover the bathroom is in old style , i think to preserve a tipycal french style of '50 or '60. Perfect heating plant, very warm apartment, no extra-charge for our 6 days. The kitchen is small and essential but everything is ok , with all you need to cook. The bedroom small but very quite, little bed , maybe for tall people not so ok . Matress so and so but anyway i slept really very well . Towels and bed sheets very clean. Perfect staff services, correct , you can trust them , really. I could come back in this apartment next time and i suggest it for who journeys with friends , for young couples, for young families. i can say i'm satisfacted about everything . Beautiful loft apartment. Renovations to the exterior were happening during our stay, so the outside of the building did not leave a good impression but the interior of the apartment was more than expected. Kitchen is not large but manageable and the tub could be modified to have a shower curtain to prevent splashing when showering - other than those points I would recommend this apartment and also stay again. There were two couples and thought it was comfortable. Michelle was very pleasant and friendly as well.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The neighborhood is wonderful and makes you really feel parisian. The apartment was close to the metro and there is a grocery store around the corner. The apartment itself was small but adequate for two people. The small bedroom was cozy and the enormous windows were fantastic. Nice and quiet. The only reason it doesnt get a 5 star is that it is a little shabbier than the pictures indicate. It could use a little paint in other words. Nothing dirty at all, just a little shabby. I would still stay there again in a heartbeat. Great value and a nice place.

Some things can take time, for example the building's stairways also start having a little peeling, that was done ca 6 years ago and I'm not sure the rest of the building owners are ready to redo it just yet. The sink in the kitchen and the bathroom indeed are old, but we don't want to change them because they are valuable, restoring them is apparently something nobody we've asked for is able to do. So that won't change at least for the moment.

What I said about the apartment and the quartier are very objective: it would be very difficult not to appreciate both enormously. This part of the 14th is a revelation I have to say. It is a real, bourgeois, not bobo, not touristy, neighborhood, with good restaurants, and nice walks - and the bookstore around the corner is wonderful! I have lived in the 16th, 7th, 6th, 11th, and 10th, and occasionally stayed in the 13th and 18th, and I think that Alesia hits the right balance.<br /> <br /> Thank you again for your help with the apatment and for contributing to a wonderful stay in Paris.<br /> <br /> Thank you also for your kind offer for a discount, I think that the next time in Paris will be during the summer or next year.<br /> Your site is super!

This is an amazing little apartment, very well-kept, charming, full of light and joy that I wholeheartedly recommend. It is great for 1-2 people and possibly a small family, and it has anything you might possible need for a short stay. The living room with its double-hight windows is very relaxing and the small bedroom upstairs is quiet and cozy. The neighborhood is more than convenient, it is thoroughly pleasant, with good small restaurants, shops, food markets, and hidden architectural surprises. Metro, buses, and, at a short walk, the tramway will get you anywhere in Paris, with the extra bonus of staying in non-tourist neighborhood. I had one of my most pleasant stays in Paris - one of dozens short stays over the last 8 years - and since I know the city pretty well having spent a good part of my life there, I can say that both the apartment and the quartier are fantastic! Thank you to cities reference for making my stay and work easy and bright!

Yes, I am enjoying the apartment greatly, it is amazing, it has a light, cheerful energy that got me from the moment I walked in, and is carrying me through! You are lucky to have it! I also love the neighborhood that I had never explored when I lived in Paris, and I am thrilled by the architecture, especially the 20s and 30s buildings around here.

Perfect Parisian loft. Is is attraction on it's own. Coming back from long walk through the city to this perfectly located (away from busy hasty downtown street) was a bliss. We felt like Paisans living in Paris. That is what we loved about it. The whole experience was a just amazing.

Great place to stay and get a feel for the city. There are narrow stairs to climb, so keep that in mind - but Paris is for walking...so just add the stairs to your total. Enjoy the location, its clean, very comfortable for a family of four - close to a Monoprix, so we saved some money by cooking at home, and we saved a lot of money on transportation, since we were close to all tourist spots. Loved it and recommend it!!!!!

The apartment was wonderful--quiet, and perfect for watching the comings and goings on Moulin Vert. I loved sitting in the window and writing as life went by. We also loved the area. With luck, we can come again sometime.

Zwar ist die Wohnung hübsch und gut aufgeteilt, Spüle und Waschbecken sollten jedoch ausgetauscht werden da alt und heruntergekommen. Nostalgie ist schön aber es sollte gepflegt sein.

Ja, wir hatten, gerade auch dank der schönen Wohnung in der rue du moulin, eine wunderbare Zeit in Paris. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Die Metro und die Busse verbinden in Kürze alle wichtigen Stationen und Orte. Die Wohnung ist hell und luftig und geschmackvoll ohne viel Schnickschnack eingerichtet. Sogar in der engen Küche kommt man sich dank eines grossen Fensters nicht eingesperrt vor. Jedenfalls haben wir fast immer selbst gekocht und konnten uns mit dem vorhandenen Material und Geschirr gut arrangieren. Gerne behalten wir die Adresse für einen zukünftigen Aufenthalt in Paris bereit.
Dennoch wagen wir eine kleine Anregung: Geschirrschrank und Küchenkasten grosszügig ausmisten und eine geringere Anzahl von intakten Tellern und Tassen etc. einräumen.

Nice apartment in a very nice part of the city. The apartment is small (the kitchen is very small), but everything is functional. I stayed with my wife and two daughters and we were very comfortable. Grocery, bakery, bank, post office, everything you need is within a 1 1/2 block of the apartment. Also, one of the best things about this apartment is that it is 1 block from metro line 4 which is a main metro line. You can get to 75% of the places you will want to go in Paris with 0 to 1 line transfers from line 4.

Questo appartamento riassume in se' tutto il fascino parigino.Sobrio e originale allo stesso tempo, vi si respira ancora l'atmosfera di un atelier (testimonianza ne sono un paio di quadri). Rientrando la sera dopo una giornata di cammino per le vie e gli straordinari monumenti di Parigi è facile abbandonarsi alla fantasia e immaginare i pittori al lavoro nelle stanze lasciate ancora intatte come un tempo ma dotate di ogni comfort. Ottima posizione, quartiere piacevole, metropolitana a meno di un minuto (reale) a piedi. Molto al di sopra delle aspettative, piacevolissima esperienza.

What an incredible apartment. This place transformed our stay in Paris. We cooked every night (which saved us so much money!) and had such a great time doing it--there is a great supermarket 5 minutes' walk from the apartment, which we went to almost every day. There is also an adorable bakery a few minutes' walk which we treated ourselves to every now and then. It is unbelievably spacious: the ceiling in the main room is incredibly high, with little stairs leading up to the wonderfully cozy bedroom and cute bathroom. It had a delightful view on the street below and the charming building across the way, which has countless little red flowers on picturesque French terraces. It was, overall, one of the best choices we made. We will always remember our stay in Paris because of this wonderful apartment.
Also, Angela, the keyholder, was SO nice and accommodating, making us feel instantly comfortable. And for all internet-lovers, there is free wireless, which is a fantastic plus.
The only con I can possibly imagine that could present a problem to some is the location. It is about a 15 minute metro ride from all the major sites in Paris. If you want to stay in the more touristed center so that you can walk to most of the sites, then this could be problematic, but for us it was exactly what we were looking for. We would sightsee all day and then just return to the apartment in the early evening, so it wasn't problem it all. In fact, it was nice to get out of the crowded hubbub and go home to our quiet neighborhood each day. It really completed the apartment experience to be in a real Parisian neighborhood.
All in all, not a single problem, and I could not recommend it more highly!

RUE DE MOULIN VERT was a PURE DREAM. The moment I entered the flat I could sense the spirit of life in Paris. With a very delicate and special taste all the rooms have been decorated in a sense of purity and excellence. Walking over the old wooden parquet which could tell endless past time stories the huge old window welcomed the bright sun shining in. Turning around the best should unfold upon me. The steps leading to the second floor of the maisonette made me feel like a little queen. A bath room with an old fashioned bath tab was the ultimate hit for a foam bath to come. A peaceful heavenly sleep was guaranteed in the cute sleeping cabinet providing an overview over my most favorite Paris backyards. Last but not least even the toilet had an exciting view to offer, allowing you to observe the pigeons sitting on the chimneys indulging the sun setting.
So THIS FLAT could not be topped by anything for me ..... except the delicious greasy croissants from the bakery at the corner of rue de moulin vert and rue des plantes.... another HEAVEN!!!!!!
I have to admit that this was my first internet booking ever and I am glad to write such a positive feedback today. Excellent apartment!!! Suitable for 4 persons! Very confortable, quiet and and very well situated near Alessia metro station. You can also go to the city centre in 10 minutes by bus 38!

Angela was an absolutely delight. Prompt, helpful and so, so sweet and kind. And you I can thank heartily from all help and assistance in our planning. It could not have been better. Angela´s husband picked the key at noon on Monday, so even that went perfectly fine.
We loved the flat. It was tidy, comfortable, full of light, handy for travelling. There was everything we needed and the choice was excellent value for the money. The street was quiet and surroundings very pleasant - this means a lot, as at the airport we met a Finnish family who never slept for three nights due to the traffic and other disturbing noise. We slept happily as little pigs! Found the boulangerie and had the first enjoyment already early in the morning.
