The peaceful setting was perfect. Surrounded by nature, the villa is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Besides the villa itself, we especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace with the garden and the pool. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Hopefully, we’ll return!

We really loved staying at Guglielmo’s place! Coming off a long flight, and being able to check in earlier was a god send when you have a cranky, sleep deprived toddler. The apartment was lovely and spacious. The terrace was wonderful to sun bath. Location was great being walkable to the Pantheon and Piazzo Navona. We had a wonderful time! Guglielmo met us upon arrival, showed us around the apartment, answered all of our questions, including operating of appliances and where to take out recycling and garbage. He had recommendations for local dining. Apartment has a wonderful porch, great cross ventilation, and is perfectly located in the quieter part of Trastevere, with easy access to transportation. The apartment is quirky with a genuine vintage feel. The internal staircase was a bit tricky so guests should be aware of that, but all was as advertised and lovely. Would happily stay here again!

Only recommendation is that you put a contrast color edging on the internal stairs, and/or install a motion detecting light so the stairs are visible at night. Some kind of shower caddy in the shower would be immensely helpful -- especially since shower stall is so tight, which makes retrieving toiletries from the floor challenging. Also, additional toilet paper would be welcome. we greatly appreciated your meeting us and showing us around -- that makes a huge difference.

La casa está en una ubicación perfecta, cerca de todo, Pascale lo explicó todo perfectamente y nos ayudó con los traslados del aeropuerto a la casa. Terraza maravillosa. Respecto a las escaleras, son todas estilo caracol, para nosotros no fue un problema, pero para personas mayores o con carro de bebé puede ser difícil.

Great time. Maria met our group and showed us the house. Very comfortable. Marco was our guide for amalfi and capri. Really great. Many steps but fun. Marco found great restaurants and quiet secluded spots.

This apartment was in an amazing location. lots of shops, restaurants, and churches right outside your door. and a short walk to all the major spots: Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc. this town is very lively at night, but we had no issues with noises keeping us awake or disturbing us while we worked. the glass porch was nice for watching the cat sneaking around! and the Internet is some of the best we've had in a while!

Our only 'complaint' is that the bed slats kept falling down when we would lay down, so we had to fix it every night. I think it needs to be tightened better. we tried to make due with what we had, but it only worked for a night, then it fell apart again. everything else was fine!

This apartment was beautiful, clean, and in the quiet area of Trastevere! The host personally met us at the apartment and showed us around and was very flexible about our arrival time. The apartment is in an ideal location away from the bustle but close to the center. Our stay was very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure!!

Location practically in the heart of Trastevere, very close to the activities but also own, private, calm little yard. Fresh, clean linen and towels, clean apartment and really good instruction on how to get in and how to use everything in the apartment. Really polite and fast communication with Guglielmo in every step of our stay. Great place to stay!

The location of the place was excellent—central and convenient for exploring Rome. The host was responsive and friendly, which we really appreciated. However, upon arrival, we noticed a strong, overwhelming smell of mold throughout the space. Unfortunately, there was visible mold as well, which made it impossible for us to stay due to health concerns. We had to cancel our stay on the first day. It’s a shame because everything else seemed promising, but the air quality and mold issue need to be addressed for future guests.

Thank you for being responsive and welcoming. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to a strong smell of mold and visible signs of it in the apartment. It was quite overwhelming and raised health concerns. We recommend thoroughly addressing the mold issue to improve the comfort and safety for future guests, as the location and your hospitality were otherwise great.

Location is top, you can’t beat it. Great communication and flawless check in. The place is unique, perfect for two. Balcony is charming, we spent lots of time there. It felt save and extremely close to Piazza Navona, and honestly everything else. One sink had a leak but since we had 2 we used the other one and didn’t bother and didn’t notify owner immediately ether. Shower for second person is not to hot so be fast;). Overall it was great and I’d stay there again.

This is the best apartment I have stayed in Rome. It is centrally located on a quiet street near the Campo de Fiori. It is on the 5th floor and faces an inner courtyard so is very private and quiet. It is perfect for 1-2 people. Guglielmo was very helpful and responded to my questions right away. I give it my highest rating.

Thanks for everything. The apartment was perfect for me. I hope to return!

Wonderful place, quiet, and had a private outdoor area. We were close to everything in trastevere, testaccio, and can get to the bus lines easily. Great food around, and easily in the heart of night life without all the noise through the night. This was a perfect place for us. Guglielmo was a wonderful host and was very responsive when we had questions. He had ensured our stay was perfect. Thank you again and I will rebook when in town!

Villa Vendicari is a slice of paradise in Sicily. The grounds are breathtaking. You are tucked away from any noise amongst gorgeous vegetation. The spaces are comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully laid out. The area had lots to explore in terms of walks, beaches, activities, and amazing food. We had THE BEST time and our only regret is we didn't book a longer stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you so much - we had the best stay! I don't know if there is something like this on the market, but the one thing I thought of was that the pool did not have steps for my infant son to stand on (so he never got comfortable swimming because he could not stand up). If there is anything like a 'platform' of sorts that could accommodate younger (shorter) swimmers in your pool, that could be an asset. But, once again, everything was so amazing. We loved your space. We wish we could have stayed longer. Kathleen

This place is wonderful. First, Trastevere is a great neighborhood. The apartment is in a quiet area but close to good coffee shops and restuarants…and there are lots of them. The apartment is just about perfect…and we are airbnb hosts and stay at alot of properties. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is nice, the kitchen has everything you need, and the decor is tasteful…and you are in an old charming building with all new amenities. I highly recommend and we will come back if we come to Rome again.

The only things i would suggest is to have some ice trays and a blanket to use while sitting on the couch! Seriously, we loved you place and will come back when we come to Rome again. Grazie mille!

Uns hat die Lage und der Schnitt der Wohnung sehr gefallen allerdings war einiges defekt oder nicht vorhanden es wurde dann aber umgehend für Ersatz gesagt wenn auch nicht für einen qualitativ guten Ersatz

uns hat die Lage und der Schnitt der Wohnung sehr gefallen allerdings sind die Küchenutensilien zum Teil sehr schäbig und alles lag zusammengewürfelt in einer Schublade und war verschmutzt. ein liebevoller Umgang mit dieser Wohnung wäre schön. die Kommunikation war sehr gut und wir würden die Wohnung wieder wählen

This is a warm and wonderful apartment in a great less touristy part of Trastevere but convienent to everything. The apartment is a lovely size has everything you . Sofa bed and full size bed are very comfortable . Iryna's greeted us at the flat and gave us a complete orientation to the apartment and neighborhood. Outstanding customer service!! Love to return!

It would be great if you had some softer pillows for people like me who need flatter pillows and an extra blanket or duvet for cooler evenings. I loved everything at your place!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Guglielmo (une petite semaine). L’appartement est idéalement situé et permet de tout faire à pied! Bien qu’en centre-ville, l’appartement est très calme et la vue sur les toits très charmante ! L’ascenseur a été très apprécié après des journées de marche sur les pavés !!! Guglielmo a été très réactif lors de nos échanges ! Les + sont la consigne quasiment au pied de l’immeuble, ce qui permet de profiter de la dernière journée sans valise, et la café Barnum également au pied de l’immeuble qui propose des viennoiseries dignes de la France !


Merci encore Guglielmo ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié séjourner dans votre appartement ! Les petits plus que l’on pourrait proposer (si possible!) : - améliorer le débit de la douche - mettre des taies d’oreiller (la seconde paire) ainsi qu’une housse de couette. Nous avions bien un drap housse et un drap! - aspirer les ventilations poussiéreuses À bientôt Chloé

A great stay right near the Pantheon. As the listing and others mentioned, it’s on the 4 (or 5th?) floor with no elevator, so keep that in mind. 10/10 would stay again.
