The appartment was located in the center of Rome just by Piazza Navona which was excellent because of the proximity to the major sights. The appartment was nice and clean but had problem with lack of hot water. Because of low water pressure on the 4th floor the waterheater didn´t function properly. A source of constant irriation especially when the heater suddenly turned off in the middle of a bath where the  water intermittently turned cold and warm, and came out of the douche in a very modest quantities. A reduction in price and a mention of that fact in the advert would be desirable.

We had a great time in Rome, the apartment was quiet, very central, warm, well working TV/DVD/Internet WiFi access with very easy access to the flat on a Sunday afternoon and the owner, generously let us use the flat until lunchtime on the day we left. It was super to be able to walk to most places in Rome and we would be happy to return and can only reccomend a stay in Rome out of season.

Fantastic location, central & quiet with great restaraunts nearby. The apartment was well appointed with well stocked kitchen & equipment. The landlord was of great assistance when we needed a doctor & helpful. Stairs kept us from putting on excess with all the cafe treats.

We loved staying on the top floor, though a bit difficult for me to climbed the 90 stairs, of a 16th century building in the Centro Historico of Rome,with its charming cobblestone streets and the small hidden squares.
 Only minutes from Piazza Navona, the Tiber, Gelateria del Teatro ai Coronari, the best ice cream in Rome.
 We were within a comfortable walking distance of most of Rome's tourist attractions.
 December is cold in Rome, but the flat was cozy and warm, and the children felt there like at "home".
We fully recommend it.

The apartment in Piazza di Montevecchio was wonderful; fabulous location, spotlessly clean, plenty of space and comfortible for lounging after a busy day. The owner quicklty responded to anything we needed as did the "key holder" who lived in the building. The "key holder" made us feel very welcome, waving from the window as we arrived and giving us suggestions for coffee, meals and shopping. The owner imediately sent extra towels and bath mats when I requested. The little neighborhood bar arcoss the plaza was an unexpected delight as was the entire neighborhood, really, a little gem in a very busy city.  My only critique is that the linens were not great; they were clean but pillow cases were ripped, there was no sheet for the pull out couch and not enough pillow cases for the extra pillows. This seemed to matter only to me and did not impact our comfort. We loved our stay in Piazza di Montevecchio.

Super zentral gelegen, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und sprach deutsch. Die Koffer konnten wir aufgrund der späten Abreise noch in der Wohnung stationieren, solange die Putzfrau die Wohnung reinigte. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es sehr ruhig in der Wohnung mit Blick auf den Petersdom. Jederzeit wieder gern!

Die Wohnung lag sehr Nahe an allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es war kein Problem auch spät nachts in die Wohnung zu kommen. die Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Betten und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Lo mejor la situación, la amabilidad de Francesco y la facilidad de alquilar con la agencia, son muy atentos. Lo peor: no hay ascensor, ni aire acondicionado, ni microondas y necesita una renovación en baño y cocina al menos. En el mismo centro de Roma, !!!!!solo por eso merece la pena!!!!! A 2 minutos andando de la Piazza Navona.

The apartment is located very close to Piazza Navona, an area with shops, banks, and restaurants. The location is great. We were a group of 6 and we fit comfortably in the apartment, however, with only one bathroom, it was difficult to get ready in the mornings. The owner is very helpful and it is very easy to contact him.

This apartment is a real find, located in the heart of the Rome, right next to the Piaza Navona. It is tucked away in a quiet street but right next to everything you need. We could not imagine a better way of staying in Rome. The owner was very helpful; the apartment was very nice and clean. There was wireless internet. The view from the apartment was great. It is in walking distance to everything, Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish steps. Overall, a great experience.

We are a family of 6 persons ( kids from 10 to 18) and  spent a week in this appartment.
The location is great and the appartment is very nice : quiet , nice view, comfortable bedrooms.
however the bathroom was average , as the hot water was not working very well, and the equipment in the kitchen is very poor : you can have your breakfast, but certainly cannot make a dinner ( or juste have pizzas!!).
For us it was not a problem, but it is good to know.

l'appartement est tres bien, idealement situé dans le quartier Navona Campo de Fiori. Les proprietaires sont tres sympas, l'appartement est grand et fonctionnel, cependant il existe un probleme au niveau de la pression d'eau de la salle de bain et des fluctuation de la temperature de l'eau de la douche.
Je me permets de faire ce commentaire pour inciter le proprietaire à faire les travaux necessaires qui sont peut etre prevus d'ailleurs.
Je conseille cet appartement si les problemes d'eau sont resolus.

Tolle Gegend. Eine sehr gute "Osteria del Gallo" gleich um die Ecke.
Die Wohnung den Erwartungen entsprechend. Nicht neu aber sauber und ruhig. Die Vermieter nett und unaufdringlich. Tolle Zeit. Gerne mal wieder.

Amazing location-- could walk to lots of places, catch hop/hop off bus, get a taxi. All contacts with owner went well; made special accomodation for our arrival. Apartment was on top floor -- good views-- roomy-- we had 5 people -- no A/C in August, but fans worked well. Quiet for location. Everything nearby: food, cafe, internet cafe, bank, shopping. Apartment was clean, straightforward, not overly cozy, kitchen tiny, chairs in dining area broken so we all could not sit down at one time, no TV, internet, or phone (can be arranged-- do ask!)-- trash not emptied, no paper towels, soap, no clothes soap for machine, no salt, sugar-- the kind of things you hope are already in the apartment. Could be last renters cleaned out supplies. All that being said, we would go back just for the location and ease of rental. Not sure how overall value compares to other properties in the area. We will probably do more comparison shopping next time.

Position (note: 5/5) :
- Très bonne, centrale, à moins de 2km de St Pierre / Spagna / Colisée et surtout côté place Navona et son quartier très animé avec une foule de restaurants.

Appartement (note: 2,5/5) :
- 2 chambres + séjour, 6 pers max
- Vieillot et situé au dernier étage sans ascenseur (90 marches...)
- Mériterai un bon rafraîchissement à tous les niveaux (déco, mobilier, peintures...).
- Pas de climatisation et seulement 2 vieux ventilateurs (pas pratique quand vous êtes 5)
- Bar de nuit bruyant en bas (donc pas possible de dormir fenêtres ouvertes)
- Linge de maison convenable et suffisant.
- Cuisine bien équipée mais pas de micro ondes (on en a tellement l'habitude maintenant!)

Rome:
- Ayant fait beaucoup de voyage à travers le monde, cette ville est vraiment extraordinaire: c'est un musée à ciel ouvert!
- C'est la capitale européenne à faire (avec de très bonne chaussures!)
- Prévoir un budget assez important pour les visites, la nourriture et les extras.

Roman Référence (note: 5/5):
- Site très sérieux
- Echanges des emails en français et réponses réactives.
- A conseiller

Conclusion:
Malgré tous les point négatifs sur l'appartement, je reviendrai dans ce dernier, car il est vraiment très bien situé, et cela vaut certainement quelques sacrifices.
De plus, son prix (36 euros/nuit/pers) est un bon atout comparé à ceux qui se louent dans le même quartier.
Si vous voulez visiter Rome en n'étant pas trop exigeant sur le logement, cela fera l'affaire.
Si vous souhait un max de confort...passez votre route!

Allez visiter Rome, vous ne le regretterez pas!

Très bien placé , globalement correct. Salle de bain un peu rudimentaire: il y a ce qu'il faut , mais vétuste et propreté limite!Chaleur épouvantable la nuit , malgré les ventilateurs.La clim serait la bienvenue car dormir les fenetres ouverte est pénible, bruit des motos , des mouettes.Cela dit , excellent séjour , mais nuits mauvaises à cause du bruit et de la temperature qui ne descend pas la nuit .Merci pour vos réponses rapides à mes mails et pour avoir pu bénéficier des clés un peu avant vu notre arrivée précoce .Pour finir, paiement en liquide ennuyeux car nous avons passé une semaine avant en Toscane , et il a fallu transporter l'argent liquide tout ce temps.
Owner's reply : Merci pour vos commentaires. Des travaux ont été effectués et il y a à présent une nouvelle salle de bain et une nouvelle cuisine.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sehr zentral gelegen. Dank der neuen Fenster, hört man auch nicht viel von der Kneipe unten vor dem Haus. Anstrengend ist es, immer die vier Etagen Treppe rauf mit über 90 Stufen zu steigen ;)
Den ersten Tag war das Wasser in der Dusche eiskalt, danach war es ok. Schade ist, dass die Grundausstattung in der Küche (Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Öl) nach jedem Besucher wieder entfernt wird, so dass jeder neue Gast alles neu kaufen muss. Und Geschirrtücher könnten vorhanden sein!
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Der Tipp des Vermieters in die Gaststätte "da Gallo" um die Ecke zu gehen, erwies sich allerdings nicht als zufriedenstellend.
Insgesamt eine sehr positive Bewertung: Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Thank you for your efforts. We had very nice days in Rom. The weather (you arranged?) was excellent. The apartment was fine and the check-in was as you described it. In the evening the Piazza di Montevecchio is loud because of bar opposite the house, but with closed windows you hear practically nothing. Besides we were not in Rom to have silent days and the location was ideal for our excursions.

Please tell M. Francesco that we were very content.

I just wanted to say that our trip was wonderful and the apartment in Montevecchio was great. Francesco and his brother Pietro were terrific, and I must say we'd love to use your service again the next time we come to Italy!
