2 minutes walk from Piazza Vittorio, 10 min. walk from San Giovanni in Laterano and 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum, well connected to all areas of Rome by trams, buses and underground, 5 minutes walk from the train that goes to Fiumicino airport;
35sq.mts. apartment set on the ground floor, it consists of:
ENTRANCE
with table and 4 chairs;
BEDROOM
with double bed, bedside table, wardrobe, 2 stools, 1 single armchair bed, tv, air conditioning and window;
KITCHEN
with gas stove/oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and window;
BATHROOM
with shower, bidet and window.
Independent heating, no phone, tv, a/c, doorman, microwave. Monthly possible. Discount for 2 weeks or more.
PLEASE NOTE : the minimum stay in August will be 5 nights.
Check ins after 9:00PM to 1:00AM will be charged 50 euros. Check ins after 1:00AM will be reported for the day after.

Acogedor y céntrico apartamento, el Apartment puede albergar hasta 3 personas que disfrutarán de la libertad y la comodidad de un alojamiento privado en pleno barrio del Esquilino, en el centro de la ciudad de Roma. Ubicado en un edificio de la época Umbertina (siglo XVIII), te ofrece rápido acceso a lugares como el Coliseo, la Plaza Venecia o el Foro Imperial, entre otros.
El apartamento dispone de una habitación doble (con cama de matrimonio), salón comedor, cocina y baño. La cocina está completamente equipada con todos los utensilios (nevera, tetera y cafetera) y se proporciona la ropa de cama. Asimismo, tendrás a tu disposición información turística como mapas y folletos. Si viajas con niños, éstos dormirán gratis si no ocupan cama extra. El barrio del Esquilino, donde se encuentra ubicado este apartamento, es un barrio muy céntrico dotado de todos los servicios. Podrás encontrar tiendas y restaurantes por doquier. Por otro lado, está muy cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad, tales como el Coliseo, la Plaza Venecia, el Foro Imperial y la Basílica de Santa Maria Maggiore.

The price was not transparent: hidden costs of "city tax" that were not mentioned anywhere.
a very low standard of appartment for what we paid: faulty boiler and shower with no hot water. Bad smell all over. Many other hazards (see: kitchen). Unwashed bed covers.
We survived but just. And we wouldn't send there our worst enemy. AVOID!!!! It doesn't deserve any stars, but the site wouldn't submit my review until I select that rating.

Cheap in comparison to other places, but it comes at a price.
A shabby looking place with strange paint on the walls and even stranger kitchen and toilet area. I wasn't bothered by those though.
What bothered me most was the fact that the owner didn't highlight the fact that there are additional costs (city tax paid per day and multiplied by the number of people) that increased the price significantly. Apparently that information is somewhere there, where you can't see.
Neither a mention from them about the faulty shower and boiler that make it impossible to take a decent hot shower. Hot water is just dripping and if you try to turn it up, the water gets cold. Once the boiler broke down and we had to skip washing that day. The key holder is helpful but if you've got plans and limited time to enjoy the city, you shouldn't have to worry about preexisting issues and wait for them to be fixed.
The electric kettle is faulty too, but we boiled the water on the hob.
Good selection of blankets that have seen better days...
Overall, I would not repeat the experience. Not until the price is clear and transparent on the website, the boiler and shower fixed, blankets washed, because so far you get very little for the price you pay.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The owner welcomed us and the transaction went very smoothly. It is located in close proximity to termini which gives you easy bus access to any place in Rome and most importantly to the airport. We took the bus service to the airport and that saves you about 10 euros per person. We even met a couple of the neighbors in the building and they were very kind, gave us many tips for moving around Rome and assured us the neighborhood and building were both very safe at all times.
