The apartment was perfect!  It is much larger than it appears in the photos.  It is walking distance to so many of the attractions (and the metro is just a few steps away).  There is plenty of storage space.  The bathroom is large.  The kitchen is charming (although we didn't cook).  Myself, my husband, and 2 daughters (ages 21 and 15) loved the location.  We really enjoyed our experience staying in the neighborhood  - I highly recommend it!

Apartment is ideally located just near the station Cavour - MetroB(1min), so walking distance to Colloseum or Piazza di Venezia is very short. Apt is in old building very clean and intetresting. Apt is well equipped and has its own unique climate. We spent 7 days with my wife and two boys. The owner Mrs Ippolita is very kind and very helpfull. Therefore, our stay in Rome was very successful.

Nous sommes rentrés samedi soir en France après une semaine sur Rome où nous avons logé au 78 de la Via Urbana.
Nous tenions à vous remercier pour l’accueil: à l’heure et très pro, le contact avec la propriétaire, très chaleureuse et biensûr, le logement très bien placé et très agréable à vivre avec nos deux adolescents.

Grâce à tous ces points que nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

We had a wonderful week in Rome. For us, a family of four people, this apartment provided better comfort than a hotel normally would and was much nicer. The location is central, still the Monti area has its own local character with shopping and many small restaurants. The street is narrow but sometimes busy - the windows, however, are well insulated and keep the noise away. Some of the interior fittings have their little peculiarities, but you find out. The apartment is nice, clean and well equipped. The amiable owner of the apartment got in touch with us in good time before the trip, to check out if there were any particular needs or questions. On arrival she took the time to show us how everything works in the apartment from dish washer to door locks, and even followed us out in the city to show us the nearest places where we could buy food. We also found the Roman Reference agency professional and helpful. Next time we visit Rome, we will check out the Roman Reference site, and we may rent this apartment again if available.

This appartment is an excellent basis for enjoying Rome! The neighbourhood is really Italian, not touristy and extremely nice. Yet, a lot of places of interest are nearby - and if not, catch the metro in 100m walking. The appartment itself is spacious, clean and well kept. It is a quiet place, no noise from street or neighbours. Furniture and decoration are tasteful and pragmatic. The owner is extremely hospitable, she explained us all the ins and outs of the appartment and the area over a cup of cappuchino. Our children were particularly happy that she sent the dolls we accidentally left straight away to our home in Holland!

Bonjour, Le séjour chez vous fut des plus agréables. L'appartement était très bien situé, à quelques pas du métro et du Colisée. Il était grand, assez isolé du bruit extérieur quand on fermait les fenêtres. Les petits marchands du coin étaient fort sympathiques.La température à Rome fut magnifique. Ariane, ma fille, a beaucoup apprécié le réseau internet. Nous avons répondu une fois au téléphone, pensant que c'était peut-être vous qui appeliez, mais finalement nous avons eu affaire à un message enregistré, on ne sait trop sur quel sujet puisqu'il était en langue italienne. Par la suite, nous n'avons plus répondu... désolée! Nous allons fournir une appréciation fort positive à l'agence de location. Nous sommes vraiment satisfaits de notre séjour chez vous, particulièrement à ce moment de l'année, où la température est un peu plus fraîche.

This is a lovely, very cozy, spacious apartment in an excellent location in Rome. My family (husband and 2 teens) were very comfortable here. There is plenty of space in each room and lots of windows to let in the sunlight. For those that like to sleep in, there are shutters that you can close to keep out the light. There is a roomy kitchen toward the back of the apartment where you can go have your coffee in the morning without waking anyone in the bedrooms. All of these things became very important after spending a week in London in a tiny 35 sq m apartment. We loved the location. You are surrounded by shops and restaurants and within walking distance of many of the historical signts in Rome. The cafes on neighboring streets stay open late, so if you're an early bird, a white-noise maker is helpful. A subway station is just around the corner; but the only time we used it was to get to the Vatican. Everything else is within 15 minutes walking distance or less--5 minutes to the Collesium, Santa Maria Maggiore, etc. etc. etc. Get a guide book and just start walking. There is so much to see and all within a couple of blocks of each other. One of my favorite sight was the Basilica of St. Clements--this is a 12th century church, built on a 4th century church, which in turn was built on a 1st century pagan temple. You can tour all 3 layers!!! Thank you Ippolita for going out of your way to make your apartment so comfortable for your guests!

La ubicacion de este apartamento esta buenisima, el sitio como tal es excelente, bien equipado, espacioso, fresco. La verdad me senti como una Romana, la experiencia fue muy buena, lo recomiendo. La duenia es muy simpatica y atenta, los sitios y restauranes que estan en la zona son buenisimos. I really recommend this apartment, the subway station is just across the street and the apartment is nice and well equipped, overall I had a great experience here.

Rome est une ville magnifique, l'appartement est idéalement placé, dans une rue calme, dans un quartier agréable, avec plein de petits commerces et de restaurants à promixité, au pied du métro. Il est possible de se rendre à pied aussi bien vers les sites romains (colisée, forum...) que vers la Piazza di Spagna, la Fontaine de Trévi, le Panthéon, ou la gare Termini. L'appartement est très agréable à vivre, spacieux, bien décoré et bien équipé. Ippolita, la propriétaire, est adorable et d'une grande aide. Merci aussi à Roman Reference pour son efficacité. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir à Rome, Via Urbana, et de conseiller cette destination à nos amis ! Pierre, Alexandre, Xavier & Rachel
