The apartment is unique because getting in it is like stepping into the past in the 70s. In those years Rome was still considered authentic, completely different from the rest of the world but with its ever-present eternal charm.

The idea of renting a house so special in this specific area of Rome is born from the desire to transmit to guests what apartments and Rome were like in the 80's. It was the time when people used to scream from the windows of their apartments to the street to communicate with their family or friends, supermarkets did not exist, negotiating at open air markets was an everyday ritual. People had the perception that nothing new could come. It was like the time had stopped. It represents, a pause, a reflection from the stress.


The apartment is located in a quiet and historic building of the Municipality of Rome IX - Appio Latino - one of the few neighborhoods that has remained the same over time, not only from the architectural point fo view, but especially for the people who still live there, the most are Roman and lived in this area since they were born. 

A short walk from the house can get you to the historic Porta Metronia that was built in Roman times. 
If you decide to keep on walking for 3 more minutes, you will discover the "Terme of Caracalla". 
Important to remember is the famous Via Sannio market where you can make purchases of any kind. 

Also, within walking distance, you will meet the historic Via Appia Antica, the ancient Roman road that represented the connection road between Rome and Brindisi, the most important harbor for Greece and the Orient during the ancient Rome era. 

Furthermore, via Appia is probably the most famous Roman road where you will still find ruins left. 

Are we talking about ancient wonders? So don't forget that in a 15 minutes walk you will find yourself in front of Colosseum... 

A great neighborhood to explore.


The proximity of the two Metro lines A and B are one of the strengths of the apartment. 
A 10-minutes walk and you will arrive at the San Giovanni subway (line A) and with a few more minutes of walk you will get to the Metro Colosseo (line B). 

If you are looking for buses within 5-minutes walk (80 meters) you will arrive at Largo Amba Aradam where there is a large bus stop.
 
From the airports is very easy to arrive! 
From Fiumicino, just take the train Leonardo to Termini station.
From Termini station you will arrive to the apartment by subway, getting off at San Giovanni stop from Termini (line A).
 
 
If you arrive by car, just a few steps away, in Via Gallia, you can park your car in a garage.



The whole apartment is available with no restrictions. The apartment is rented entirely to you.
