I really enjoyed staying in this airy and characterful apartment. It felt clean and homely, but with a personality and sense of history and of family that so many Airbnb's lack. The layout of the flat allowed for great circulation around the place and my friends and I were nice and cool even without resorting to the fans and aircon. Overall a really memorable stay and I hope to return one day.

Just so you know, we noticed a couple of the chairs were slightly broken - one had a broken/faulty leg and one quite splayed legs. Other than that I found the ironing board quite difficult to use so wondered if you might think of upgrading that (it was very padded with sheets which crumpled when in use, and quite dusty due to being stored horizontally under the bed). No complaints just wanted to let you know in case the honest feedback is useful.

Dit is een droombestemming, in alle opzichten. Midden de natuur,in een prachtig organisch gebouw, met mooie faciliteiten. Uniek en dichtbij enkele heel mooie steden. Heel behulpzaam team ook.

Bedankt voor de mooie plek. Enige bedenking: waarom voorzie je geen standaard hout, want dit is een meerwaarde. Verwarming (of verkoeling) is eigenlijk iets wat op andere plekken altijd in de prijs inbegrepen is.

Bedankt voor de opmerking over het brandhout als extra optie. Even ter verduidelijking: zoals ik al zei, is de verwarming met warmtepomp inbegrepen; brandhout is niet inbegrepen als je de open haard wilt gebruiken, omdat we dat speciaal moeten bestellen en de transport- en installatiekosten aanzienlijk hoger uitvallen.

Love the apartment: well-maintained and in a great location in the Center of Rome, and a very convenient elevator.  Sunny and quiet with lovely views outside the windows. Have been there many times and hope to return often.  Only qualm would be the need for more and varied silverware.
Again, highly recommended!

Nous avons globalement adoré nos 12 nuits dans ce logement

Nous ne donnons pas la note maxi, car malgré des aspect très positif, les points posant problème sont lourds et incompréhensibles.

Pour : L’emplacement correspondant exactement au quartier historique où nous voulions résider, avec énormément de bar, restaurant et commerce alentours, la grande terrasse avec une vue dégagée et intéressante, à la hauteur des toitures alentours. 

Le silence particulièrement le soir, en dehors des soirées du vendredi et samedi avec une musique assez forte dans la rue côté terrasse et des chantier alentours en journée. 

Mais les différents bruits extérieurs, arrivaient très atténués dans la chambre à coucher, donc ce n'était pas un problème.

Le sentiment de sécurité grâce a une porte d'entrée blindée et une porte métallique permettant de fermer l'accès à la terrasse, et de garder nos effets personnels à l'abri pendant la journée.

L'ascenseur puis ensuite quand même une quinzaine de marche, mais pas vraiment gênantes.

La possibilité grâce à une climatisation réversible de chauffer l'appartement de manière confortable et une eau bien chaude en quantité suffisante.

L'accueil de Guglielmo et le fait qu'il ait accepté que nous quittions l'appartement à 11h car il n'y avait pas de nouveaux locataire avant le lendemain et aussi que l'on puisse laisser nos bagages jusqu'à 18 heures (et au moment de venir les prendre, en laissant les clés à l'intérieur et en claquant la porte) car nous avions un avion retour tard le soir.

Une plaque à induction disponible à l'intérieur nous permettant d’utiliser la cafetière le matin, sans être obligé de sortir sur la terrasse pour utiliser la plaque électrique.

Contre : quelques points de la description de l'appartement inexact, il n'y a pas de machine à café mais simplement une cafetière italienne de type «moka», il y a un seul bidet présent dans la salle de bain principal, et de plus, en ouvrant au maximum ses deux robinets, il ne sortait qu'un goutte-à-goutte le rendant absolument inutilisable !

Il est dit que la chambre possède une fenêtre, ce qui est faux. En fait, il existe bien une fenêtre dans l'escalier intérieur depuis la porte d'entrée et vers le salon, qui donne un peu de lumière en direction de la chambre à travers les parois en plexiglas de la salle de bain principal. Mais il est impossible de l'ouvrir, ne serait-ce que pour aérer car elle a été condamné et donc impossible aussi d'ouvrir les volets correspondant pour augmenter la quantité de lumière.

Pour finir avec cette salle de bain principale, le WC présente un fond de cuvette marron tel que l’on peut les trouver dans des toilettes publiques alors qu'il existe des produits de nettoyage tellement efficace aujourd'hui. 

Le rideau de douche est en mauvais état et ne descendant pas jusqu'au sol, il entraîne des projections tout autour de la douche.

Par ailleurs la fixation arrondi sur laquelle il s’accroche présentant un diamètre trop petit, on le retrouve en permanence collé au corps pendant la douche.

Comme indiqué, la douche de la deuxième salle de bain a été condamnée probablement dû à un problème d’évacuation qui pourrait expliquer une forte odeur de moisissure dans cette salle de bain.

Et dans cette même salle de bain lors de notre première utilisation du wc, après le départ de Guglielmo, nous avons réalisé que le mécanisme de chasse présentait une fuite énorme et permanente dans la cuvette, très gênante au niveau du bruit généré.

Bruit tellement pénible que lorsque ayant manipulé le mécanisme de chasse à plusieurs reprises, on a fini par obtenir une fuite très réduite et silencieuse, alors on a décidé avec mon épouse de ne plus utiliser ce WC. Dommage …

Cet exemple démontre à quel point cet appartement n’est pas entretenu car le tarif de réparation d’un mécanisme de chasse est ridicule en vis-à-vis des quantités d’eau perdues et facturée localement par la compagnie des eaux.

Mais le point le plus dérangeant était le fait que la seule douche utilisable, ne possédait pas de pommeau de douche au bout d’un flexible, mais uniquement une tête de douche en partie haute, rongé par le calcaire. 

Cet aspect-là était réellement insupportable pour mon épouse qui n’avait pas prévu de bonnets de douche !

Malgré tout, un point très positif dans cette salle de bain principale était le fait qu’autour du lavabo on disposait d’un large plan de travail, très appréciable pour poser tous nos produits.

Une des deux climatisation réversible, précisément celle de la chambre, a été installée au plus simple c’est-à-dire à une cinquantaine de centimètres de hauteur, et à moins d’1 m du lit. Et même en dirigeant sa sortie d’air vers le sol, il était insupportable de la laisser en fonction toute la nuit.

Cela pourrait représenter un problème en cas de canicule. Par contre lors de notre séjour au mois de mars alors que les nuits étaient bien fraîches, le fait de le couper pendant la nuit ne nous a pas posé de problème particulier.

Dans un couple, lorsque l’un des deux se lève la nuit pour aller aux toilettes les seules lumières utilisables étant très forte, pouvaient clairement réveiller le partenaire. Pour éviter cela nous avons pendant notre séjour utilisé la lampe de nos téléphones car il n’existe aucune veilleuse.

Et par ailleurs, pour nous qui ne prenions que le café du matin, on avait du mal à comprendre qu’il n’existe qu’une seule petite cuillère dans la vaisselle !

Lovely stay. Helpful host and a beautiful apartment in a perfect location.

Everything was very good and we would definitely book this apartment again. The only thing is that in some places it wasnt super clean. There are some stains on carpet and sofa. The big bathroom smells a bit but those are only small details. The terrace is amazing!

Il secondo bagno è senza doccia e non mi sembra sia specificato al momento della prenotazione. Il wifi non prende in camera da letto . La doccia del bagno principale non scarica a sufficienza e l'acqua / schiuma ristagna a lungo. Inoltre persiste un odore di scarico insopportabile che si propaga in camera da letto. Non esiste aspirazione , finestra o ventola.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der „Gastvilla“ für zwei Personen. Selten war eine Küche so gut ausgestattet, sodass wir jeden Abend gerne gekocht und auf der Terrasse gegessen haben. Wer gerne essen geht, muss mit dem Auto ein Stück Richtung Noto fahren. Die Lage mitten in der Natur, nahe des Naturschutzgebietes mit herrlichen Spazierwegen und Badebuchten, war wunderschön, jedoch sollte man sich gut gegen Mücken rüsten. Wir können die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

The apartment is very well located, spacious, and was clean upon our arrival. It offers good beds, clean towels, an efficient heating system that works perfectly, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful from the very beginning, which we truly appreciated. We were a bit disappointed to find that the shower drain was not completely unclogged. There was also a frequent drain smell in the apartment, which may be related either to the clogging issue or to the fact that the building is old. It is also worth noting that the apartment is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. Overall, it is a good and comfortable place to stay, especially considering the location and the size of the apartment.

Super flexible host, was waiting for us outside the apartment the time we asked for. Since there was no reservation the day of our checkout, host was kind enough to let us stay the day until we had to leave for our flight. There were also some basic supplies left for us for a simple breakfast. Place could have been a little cleaner because there was dust on some of the surfaces but overall because of the location it was perfect for us.

The location is what really got me to jump on the place. It’s the perfect location to walk to everything, or a close by taxi hub and many bus stops. Two grocery stores close, and many restaurants nearby. But the best part of all was the host, Guglielmo. He went above and beyond and was easily the best host ever. I recommend staying here over anywhere in Rome, it’s the best choice.

So we loved the house and the spremuta in the morning and the location and Sicily

I was there to celebrate my birthday with friends from France, Denmark, Spain, Slovenia and Italy and it was perfect for such a get together. We cooked together and enjoyed the nice weather, we visited a couple of great wineries — Occhipinti !!!

and had great food in general.
Noto is a great spot.

We even went jogging on the beach in the park and finished swimming in the waves

We loved our stay ! The house is spacious and bright and exquisitely located near the Vendicari Tonnara and the beach — great view — where we jogged and swam. Fresh orange juice in the morning, straight from the orange tree in the garden were also a big plus. Lemons as well. We were a group of friends from all over the world gathering for my birthday and it worked splendidly: we cooked together, chatted endlessly. The house is well planned to allow everyone to be together or doing different activities. It’s located near Noto and Marzamemi and we also drove to Scicli, Etna, Taormina, Vittoria etc. And we did all this in November ! No tourists and plenty of sunshine. I’ll recommend it to my friends and I hope to go back one day :smiley: Grazie !

This is a well-priced, well-managed, and cozy place to stay right in the heart of Trastevere. It is high up enough (fourth floor) to where street noise at night was never an issue. You also have access to a gorgeous terrace to hang laundry or sit and have a drink. Highly recommend!

As a fellow hostess, here is my honest and balanced review. The apartment is extremely spacious, which is rare in Rome. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are new and smell great, and most towels are also high quality. All appliances worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 5-day stay. The hosts, Guglielmo and Iryna, were very kind and helpful. The apartment does need some maintenance: a couple of lights need replacing, the towel hanger should be fixed properly, and the space would benefit from some decluttering and better organisation, especially in the kitchen cabinets. That said, the location is absolutely unbeatable. I have been to Rome many times, but nothing compares: you can walk everywhere, return to the apartment to rest, and head out again in another direction. It truly feels like staying in the most central spot in the city, with the added charm of being in a historic building. Overall, a lovely stay.

Super logement ! Les terrasses sur les toits de Rome sont incroyables ! Les escaliers sont effectivement très étroits mais on fait la joie de nos enfants ! Un grand merci pour l’accueil de notre hôte avec tout ce dont on avait besoin pour un premier apéro et un premier petit déjeuner. Emplacement formidable !
