This apartment has an excellent location five meters far from Santa Ana Square. Definitely it is one of the most important meeting points in Madrid. Its surroundings are the famous Huertas street, heart of Las Letras quarter, place that housed during centuries the bohemian and intellectual life in Madrid. Nowadays the neighborhood has a strong identity, and its literary past keeps written on the walls and floors of the streets, where you can read famous pieces of Larra, Cervantes, Góngora or Lope de Vega, among other genius of Spanish Literature.
It’s a charming experience to stroll around Huertas quarter, traditional corner with the typical castiza atmosphere from Madrid, with its narrow streets and old squares full of restaurants, pubs, taverns and bars to enjoy a drink with fiends. That’s why this area is one of the main meeting points of young and olds, locals and visitors, during day and nighttime. Is a wonderful sensation to sit in one of the many taverns on the area or taste a traditional Spanish meal in any of the restaurants around.
The neighborhood is situated next to Paseo del Prado, an avenue with century-old trees where the most important museums and art galleries are located: Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza, Caixa Forum and Reina Sofía Art Gallery in Atocha, In addition to many small art galleries around.
