This apartment was clean and well maintained. It is a fun space, albeit small. This apartment makes the best use of limited space. Perfect for a couple. The loft bedroom area has a very low ceiling, and even at 5'8" tall, I had to stand between the metal rafters not to hit my head. Silvia came within a few minutes of us calling to let her know we were there, and she showed us around.

The flat was in a very good location. It took us 10 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station and 35 minutes walk to the Duomo.  It looked exactly as it does in the pictures on the website with its nice modern decor. We had a good email correspondence in advance with Stephano, the owner, who helpfully booked a restaurant for us for our first night and met us promptly on arrival at the apartment. He was also very helpful and responded immediately when the electricity in the apartment failed one evening.
 
We enjoyed our stay but have just a few negative comments.  The apartment was not very clean (it was very dusty) when we arrived although Stephano thought this might have been due to the building work in the road and the fact that they had recently had to do some maintenance treatment in the living room. He also offered to send the cleaning lady in again (at no cost to us) although we declined this offer.  We found the cooking facilities quite primitive in that if you try and use the microwave (there’s no proper oven) and two of the stove rings, it fuses the electricity. We also thought that previous tenants had probably misused the property so the dining chairs were damaged, some of the crockery chipped, and we were surprised to find only one wine glass (!).
 
I should add that we continue to be very pleased with the service of City Reference, have recommended you to friends and look forward to staying in one of your properties again.

Host lives in the neighbourhood and was flexible as for check in and check out. Kind and professional. The flat is nice and comfortable, it offers wifi and tv, kitchen and all that is featured in the description. The building is safe and easy to access. The great plus is the apartment location. Two steps away from Brera and near to all Milan top central destination. Yet the area is not crowded and noisy, rather the opposite. Restaurants, bars, movie theatres, galleries, the fashion 'quadrilatero', gymnasiums, 'corso como', the new "porta nova" business district are within a walking distance. Great place to enjoy Milan over a weekend or a short/medium length stay.
