GRACA. Graça is a district of Lisbon with about 7 000 inhabitants which, with some other districts, form the historical centre of the city. It was formed after the earthquake of Lisbon, with fields of the extinct parishes of saint André and saint Marinh. Alfama, Mourais and Graça represent the most romantic and ancient zone of Lisbon. We shall find some of his frescoes ceramics made in blue cobalt typical of Portugal and medieval alleyways which will transport us in other periods. The most famous tourist place of the district is the Watchtower of Gracia, on the height of the quarter. After a long promenade that can be made by Tramway but which is also very nice walking, we can enjoy it because it is a marvellous place to have a rest and where we have a panoramic view over all Lisbon.
