Travel: 
NYC is a short trip away, below you will find a list that includes a car route, buses and trains that will take you to the city and the distances of these pickup locations from the location of your stay.

Trains 
1. Gillette Station (operated by NJ Transit - cost $11.50 one way - Travel time: 60 minutes) 10 minute drive from THE WASHINGTON. Parking available at the TRAIN station

2. Dunellen Station (operated by NJ Transit - cost $11.50 one way - Travel time: 60 minutes) 10 minute drive from THE WASHINGTON. Parking available at the TRAIN station

Bus 
1. 114 NEW YORK (operated by NJ Transit - cost $10.00 one way - Travel time: 70 minutes) 
15 min walk from THE WASHINGTON (the bus stop is located at Watchung Ave and Mountain Ave. in North Plainfield)

Car 
I-78 East to the Holland Tunnel (cost: $13.00 Drive time - 35 minutes)

* Keep in mind traffic gets pretty heavy during peak hours of the day going into NYC. Times to avoid are 7am to 9am going into the city and 4pm to 7pm coming out. It is best to plan you travel into the city around these times.


House Rules

Help conserve energy, Turn it off when not in use and unplug computer plugs when leaving home

Be considerate of the shower times, as well as bathroom time to 15 minutes if house is full of guests. Leave bathroom door open to let the steam out with mat on the tub.

Please walk softly around the house in the morning because not everyone will be up.

Clean up after your self if you are staying for longer periods of time.

There is no smoking on the premises permitted. If a guest does smoke on the premises all cleaning and repair cost will be the sole responsibility of the guest(s).

We do not condone the use of illegal drugs or the abuse of any alcoholic beverage. Any and all unlawful acts are prohibited anywhere on the property. If this is found to be the case, we will notify the local authorities immediately.

Please refrain from loud music and or yelling at anytime.

No unauthorized guest are allowed without proper written request and notification from the guest and approval of the property manager .

No pets are allowed.

We respect the privacy and comfort of all our guest and ask the same from anyone staying with us.

Any and all damages caused by a guest or guests will be the sole responsibility of said guest(s) and that guest or guests will be held liable for the cost of repairs.

There is a no tolerance policy. We will report any and all issues to Cities Reference and/or the necessary authorities.
