Donna Renata is a stilysh, luxory serviced apartment located in Florence pedestrian area, on the first Floor of Via dei Medici,2, elevator and air conditioning served.
Decorated with parquet wood floors, hand-painted walls and ceilings, this 2-level property is a gem to behold.
You might be tempted to spend all of your holiday relaxing in Donna Renata apartment, but try and spend some of your time exploring Florence!
With its incredible architecture, bridges, galleries, and museums,Florence is a gem in the heart of the Tuscan region. The Duomo section of the city is one of the oldest and most popular. This apartment is located in a pedestrian zone, just 5 minutes away on foot from Florence’s most famous symbol, the Piazza del Duomo. Equally close is the Uffizi, Italy’s greatest art gallery; Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, with so many of the world’s most famous statues and frescoes; and the oldest surviving bridge in Florence, the Ponte Vecchio, with its panoramic views. Orsanmichele, the ancient church, is also within easy walking distance, as is the abbey church, Badia Fiorentina. A little bit farther out is the gothic church of Santa Croce. There are elegant and smart shops nearby, where the famous fashion houses display their world-renowned wares. After shopping andsightseeing, treat yourself to a meal at the local trattorias andgourmand restaurants. Le Giubbe Rosse and Caruso PaskoskiBar Lounge are both very close. At guest disposal a house book with local info, maps, guides and reading books.
Donna Renata Apartment is located in via de' Medici al nr. 2, in the beautiful palace at the street corner. Only 5 minutes far from the Cathedral or the Uffizi Gallery. Elevator served, on the first floor, the apartment of 110 sm, is totally air-conditioned.
Living room and kitchen big windows, are on via de 'Medici.
Bedrooms and bathrooms ' windows are all facing an inner very quiet interior courtyard.
The entry is into a large lounge room with mezzanine. The lower level contains a carved sofa and two matching arm-chairs, sat TV, DVD player, telephone. Stylish florentine floor-to-ceiling drapes, cover an immense window. An open wooden staircase, leads up to the semi-circular mezzanine level, furnished with a sofa and a writing table. Beneath the mezzanine, the large wooden dining table, decorated benches, and chairs for 10 people.
A nice corridor brings into 2 Bedrooms with a 160 cm queen-size bed, TV, and a staircase leading up to a mezzanine level with a wardrobe and a sofa.
Another bedroom has got two single beds, a chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, a tapestry, and a large painting consuming an entire wall. The ceiling in this room has been painted to look like the sky. There aretwo bathrooms, each with a shower, sink, toilet, and hair dryer.
Through a wood and glass door, decorated with a transparent lily, traditional Florence symbol , we enter the kitchen.
Fully equipped with microwave, four-burner gas cook-top, oven, refrigerato with freezer, dishwasher, washing maschine, American and Italian coffee makers, toaster, crockery and kitchen linen.

This location really cannot be beat. It's right in the center of town, close to all the major attractions. We passed the condo several times as we toured the city. Gorgeous apartment with tasteful decorations. Only thing I feel compelled to point out is that "Michela" is not the owner but just the Internet sales agent. We never met her or the owner, and it was a little bit confusing upon arrival when some other lady greeted us. Other than that, it was a fabulous experience and we would certainly return if we are ever again in Florence.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence, a stone's throw from one of the most vibrant Piazzo's in the city. The apartment was in wonderful condition and such unique stylings. The apartment's format was great for a group to chat an relax after a long day of site-seeing. Would endlessly recommend it to anyone with a large group looking for a highly accessible location in an active part of the city.

What an interesting place to stay in Florence! As you can see from the pictures, it's an extremely unique apartment. We chose this for our one night in Florence, knowing it would be our most unique lodging experience. Michela was an excellent host regarding communication - prompt and clear. We met 2 of her colleagues at the apartment, who let us in and were very friendly and helpful in understanding the lay-out and giving us tips on what to do in Florence. The apartment is quite old, which adds to its charm. There are so many interesting details, with an ornate decor. The apartment feels a bit dark, but I suggest opening up the windows in the sitting room to let in light. With the window open at night, you can hear the music from the piazza, which adds to the charm. The location of this apartment is amazing. It is only a block from a piazza with restaurants, music, shops, and a carousel. We were able to walk around in the evening to many beautiful and historic places...and ate a lot of great food!

The location of this unit was unbeatable! When putting together our itinerary there were places that were listed as under a minute walk and it was true! The apartment is very unique and hard to get a feel for the layout in photos but trust when I say that it is very large and would very comfortably accomodate a large family with plenty of privacy. It was very quiet but if you wanted to hear the music and activity down below all you have to do is open the windows. Michela was very accommodating and responded quickly to my (many) messages. We had some special requests because we traveled with a toddler and she helped arrange everything for us. Just a note that there is only a washer but that is pretty standard in Italy. The wifi was on the slower end but again, that seems to be what we have found in all places we've stayed in Italy so far. If you are a gourmet chef and are planning on cooking all of your meals, the kitchen probably isn't for you but it can handle the basics. All in all, a nice stay but if you are looking for the best, central location--this is it!
