The condominium is located in Plaka, downhill from the Acropolis. It is one of the oldest parts of modern Athens. It is a labyrinth of stone-paved narrow streets and alleyways that transport you back in time. The Plaka's central square was founded in 1813 and is crammed full of cafés, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. It is also the best area in Athens to shop for souvenirs and traditional Greek jewelry. It is 5 minutes walking distance from Syntagma Square which is the closest metro station, direct metro line from the Airport. On nearby Filellinon street there are a lot of bus stops for different destinations all over Athens and Attika.

We loved the private patio and the space in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, although a microwave would be nice. It was very clean and communication and support of the owner was fantastic! The pull-out bed was not what we expected, but given the shape of the room, understandable. Perhaps a full bed in the extra room would be a thought.
