This holiday accommodation is just a short walk from the centre of the little town of Santa Venerina. 

The apartment is part of a detached, modern house next to the road. It stretches across the whole first floor of the building and provides a living room-kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dining table, satellite TV and a sofa. It also has a bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with three beds. There are also two bathrooms, one with a bath and a bidet, the other with a shower and a bidet. The apartment provides central heating and air conditioning, as well as internet access, a washing machine and a vacuum cleaner. 

The accommodation has two outdoor areas. Firstly, a large balcony with sea views, and secondly a large terrace with a view of the cherry garden and Etna. 

The apartment’s surroundings are very quiet and pleasant, although owing to the central location essential services such as a pharmacy, a supermarket, shops and a bank are within walking distance. 

The holiday apartment is a convenient starting point for exploring the east coast of Sicily. You can go on trips to the Etna nature reserve, hike up to the craters, or perhaps along the “Strade del vino”, the wine trail amongst picturesque wine-growing villages. Santa Venerina and the surrounding municipalities Zafferana Etnea and Milo offer visitors the possibility to get to know the aromas and tastes of typical products with long-standing traditions, such as spirits, Sicilian bakery, honey and citrus fruits. 

Of course there is also an abundance of azure blue sea to be admired from the beaches at Fondachello, or the cliffs of old villages such as Stazzo, Pozzillo, Santa Maria La Scala and Acitrezza, where time appears to have stood still. However, it is especially culture that is waiting to be discovered in this wonderful region. You can go on a long tour from ancient civilisations in Taormina and the Giardini Naxos, the Greek colonies, to the grand baroque buildings of Acireale and Catania, where art and folklore have shaped a magnificent town.
