3 min. walk from the underground, behind the corner from Santa Maria Maggiore church, the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain, in one of Rome's oldest neighborhoods;
100sq.mts. nice and quiet apartment set on the third (top) floor no elevator (about 60 steps) and consists of:
LIVING ROOM
with desk and chair, double sofabed, bookshelves, buffet, working fireplace, satelite tv/vcr, dvd player, cd player, coffee table, phone/fax (only for incoming calls), air conditioning and window on inner courtyard;
a passage way with wardrobe and bench leads to:
BEDROOM
with double bed, 2 bedside tables, armchair, bookshelves, chest of drawers, air conditioning and window on Via del Boschetto;
KITCHEN
with gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dish washer, washing machine, table and chairs, coffee machine, kettle and window on inner courtyard;
2 BATHROOMS
#1 with shower and window on inner courtyard;
#2 with shower, bidet and ventilation system.

Independent heating, satelite tv, dvd player, cd player, wm, dw, phone/fax (only for incoming calls), a/c, DSL and WI FI fast Internet connection, laptop provided, working fireplace, no elevator. Cleaning included twice a week.

In the central Monti district. walking distance from everything: Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and Pantheon, and from the most important shopping streets. The neighborhood is full of places where you can eat Roman cuisine and drink Italian wines. transport is really close at hand, in fact METRO lines 'A' and 'B', bus and taxi station. they are really very, very close. third floor NO ELEVATOR bright apartment with window on via del Boschetto. WI-FI free ENTRANCE / LIVING ROOM: large living room with sofa bed and fireplace, air conditioning, 55 '' TV, bed-sofa, bookcase, 2 windows. BATHROOM: shower, hairdryer. no windows but air extractor. KITCHEN: Gas stove, fridge, freezer, sink, hot water boiler for tea, Nespresso with pods, table with 4 chairs. BEDROOM: air conditioning, double bed, 2 bedside tables, tallboy, armchair, window. APARTMENT RULES: the price includes electricity consumption 15kw per day, more than enough for a respectful use of the apartment. It means that when you leave the house, if all the electrical utilities (lights, air conditioning and TV) are closed, you can safely return to 15 kw \ h, otherwise you will probably breach the 'roof'. Should this last case occur, every single excess Kw \ h will be charged at a cost of 0.5 euros.

Guglielmo ha sido un gran anfitrión, muy amable y predispuesto respondiendo rápidamente a nuestras preguntas. El departamento está en una ubicación increíble, donde se puede llegar a pie a todos los lugares turísticos. Cosa a tener en cuenta es que tiene varios pisos por escalera para poder entrar. Pero vale completamente la pena. Lo único que le falta es un lava ropas. El resto fue excelente. Definitivamente nos volveríamos a quedar en el departamento de Guglielmo. Muchas gracias por todo!

The apartment is a huge old style penthouse. Can easily accommodate 4 people with 2 separate bathrooms. The kitchen was really nice and spacious and so was the view from the kitchen side - just courtyards of lovely Italian homes. The only thing for me was a persistent smell in the apartment, which I attribute to cats/dogs that have previously stayed at this apartment (this is a pet friendly space). Other than this I enjoyed staying at the apartment, it's so close to a lot of sights and very walkable. The neighbourhood of Monti has a lot of restaurants and shops and was even featured in some Italian movies. The apartment could also use with a little more furnishing to make it feel like home. The people managing the listing were amazing! Super nice and very responsive with suggestions for restaurants and places to see.

The cat smell though did not go away even after leaving the windows open for many days. I think it's something more permanent. Maybe a deep cleaning with washing the floors one time would help? Others with a sensitive nose may feel it more and you already have a great apartment, just needs the smell to go away :) - one more suggestion, maybe you could furnish the living room with a few more things to make it feel like a home

Guglielmo’s apartment is in the perfect location in Moni. We were able to walk everywhere in the center, and also had easy access to two metro lines, as well as close proximity to Termini. The two beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was stocked with what we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment has no frills, it is what you see in the photos.

Ci scusiamo per il ritardo nella risposta. Ci siamo trovati molto bene nell'appartamento. L'unico problema era che la doccia principale non si scaricava correttamente, quindi ogni volta che facevamo la doccia finivamo in piedi in una piscina d'acqua. L'altra doccia è troppo piccola, quindi abbiamo usato solo quella che non scarica. Stacia

Super emplacement, tout est accessible à pied, parfait pour une famille avec un ou deux enfants. Quartier assez brouillant mais c’est ça aussi être en centre ville. Accueil chaleureux et très gentil. Explications claires et précises. Arrivée et départ parfait, séjour parfait. Merci d’avoir loué votre appartement pour nos vacances !

The property manager was patient, gracious, and wholly professional. The apartment was pristine and conveniently located with several reasonably priced and delicious restaurants within the immediate block. There are also several small grocery stores close by. Kitchen was well stocked and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Expect to climb a few stairs to reach your destination. There's an on again off again odor from the bathroom, but I don't think this can be helped given the age of the building. Additionally, there is a lot of street noise throughout the night. Overall, well worth it.

Die Unterkunft ansich entspricht den Angaben, aber die Lärmbelästigung ist unerträglich. Wir haben keine Nacht durchschlafen, bzw. nicht vor halb 1 einschlafen können. In der Früh gängt es ab 5:00 wieder an. Des Weiteren zieht es im Schlafzimmer und im Badezimmer stinkt es nach Kanal.

Excellent location in the heart of Rome. Easy 20 to 25 minute walk from Roma Termini railway station. Apartment is spacious and bright in a secure building. Check in was very well done and easily coordinated. There are many food options very close by including a grocery store only two minutes away.

The apartment is very welcoming: beautiful, comfortable, spacious, bright, well equipped. The view is pleasant, the location very central with the possibility of visiting the sights on foot and with restaurants everywhere. The hosts are very communicative. We felt at home. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic place, has everything you need. Love the Monti neighborhood! I stayed here with my older parents. Yes there are a lot of stairs, but that only adds to the “live like a local Italian” flavor. My parents climbed them slowly and just enjoyed the adventure. We loved it here! Iryna and Guglielmo were both super friendly throughout the booking/stay process

Great place overall and central location, and host is very responsive. Walking distance to many major attractions. One thing to note is the walls are pretty thin so the street noise and next door neighbors can be heard. Also check in was over an hour later than the time stated. You have to turn on a switch in the kitchen area to have hot shower. Didn’t feel super clean.
Owner Comments: Hi Xin, thank you so much for your feedback. I'm sorry you declined my offer to pass by and give you in person instructions, I'm sure it would have helped. Let me answer to your points for reference to future guests 1- walls aren't thin, I can grant you that, and the windows are double glaze. Sure you are in the very center of Rome so it will never be perfectly quiet. But relative to Rome standards in the center, this is apartment is quiet. It is true that the twin apartment that we rent beside, from the same owner, has got a door to separate the two which is just a locked door, not sound proof, so maybe you are referring to that? 2- We always try to check you in as early as possible, but sometimes we have check outs the same day, as in your case, that may complicate matters. This happens rarely though. 3- There is a misunderstanding here about the water. There is a switch to turn on/off the hot water heater, it's very standard in most apartments, we leave it always on when we have check ins, you inadvertently turned it off. As a consequence, over the phone, I asked you to check if you had turned that off when you were complaining about the hot water, and therefore you had to turn it on again, however it is marked as such and it's a different switch from the light switches. This normally doesn't happen. 4- Sorry you didn't appreciate the cleaning we are investigating about that
