Once La Dimora del Balivo was the royal official palace, nowadays it is an elegant and prestigious hystorical bulding where, at the top floor, we have created a stylish smart suite overlooking on the roman amphitheater and the main Sant'Oronzo square, the heart of Lecce .
Our guests will enjoy a 40 square meters suite made of a bedroom with wide windows, a balcony with a breathtaking panoramic view and reading corner, living room, private bathroom and parquet.
There's also a free access to our terrace where you can relax drinking a glass of local wine or enjoying the wonderful view over the old town.

The local tax of 2 euros per person per day is not included and must be payed cash on arrival.

At your arrival we'll be happy to give you all our best tips to wander around Lecce and Salento area, enjoying its culture, cooking and art.
Sant'Oronzo square is definitely the heart of Lecce. All around the apartment is full of interessing sites to visit like the roman amphitheater or Santa Maria delle Grazie church or, 50 meters away you can explore Carlo V castle, where they usually hold events and exhibitions or enjoying the peaceful central park not too far from the most famous baroque Santa Croce church, you can also walk the pedestrian main street leading you to the Cathedral and its lovely square.
if you wish to get out the tourist area you can easily walk Trinchese street to go to the shopping area.
All around the square there are plenty of bars, cafes and fish or meat restaurants, amazing gelato places, pastry shops, pups, pizza places and wine bars… a feast of taste!

La Dimora del Balivo is only 900 meters from the train station, but upon request we offer a transfer service from/to it and also from/to Brindisi airport.
Also we can offer you guided excursions service of Lecce or through Salento area by private car.
