This charming apartment was quiet and clean, locating in an upscale neighborhood with many shops and restaurants nearby.  It was an easy 20-30 minute walk into the city center and a short walk (10-15 minutes) to the Vatican.  The owner, Silvio, is very attentive to all your needs.  He suggested local restaurants and called a taxi for the drive to the train station on the last day.  If I return to Rome, I want to stay in this apartment again!

A great apartment in Rome near the Vatican.  It is modern, well equipped, secure, and so quiet at night.  My husband, two adult daughters, and son in law had a great time  there.  When you choose this apartment, you receive wonderful help and support from Silvio.   He let me know much to pay the taxi from the train station, the best way to see the sights when walking is a a problem, and made arrangements for us to get a taxi to the Vatican and a ride to the airport. He made sure that we knew about the free admission to all the museums on our last evening in Rome. He was always accessible to us by email, which helped as we did not have a phone.  Silvio made us feel welcome in Rome.

This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in while abroad and we have traveled quite a bit! The apartment is very well equipped, quiet at night and in an excellent location for visiting all the major sites in Rome either by foot or by Metro from Lepanto station (about 12 minutes walk). Silvio answered all our emails promptly prior to our visit and Elena was on hand within the apartment block to assist with any queries we had during our visit. The security is excellent and it was lovely to be able to cook a few meals in with supplies from the local supermarket. We will definitely be back in the future to stay here again - Thank you Silvio! Merci à Silvio pour cet appartement. Nous y avons passé une agréable semaine à 3. Nous avons apprécié sa situation qui permet de rejoindre de nombreux sites à pied ou de prendre un bus juste à côté sur la place Cavour, et de faire des courses à proximité. C’est un appartement vraiment calme (donne sur cour) et lumineux. Il est très propre, bien chauffé et bien équipé, toutefois nous aurions aimé trouver une poêle et quelques couverts supplémentaires. Nous avons apprécié de trouver en arrivant le minimum (sel poivre sucre, huile, café, sopalain, éponges et produits d’entretien etc…) ce qui est assez rare dans les appartements de location. Ainsi nous n’avons pas hésité à laisser en partant notre surplus pour les suivants. Enfin les matelas gagneraient à être un peu plus épais, mais il faut dire qu’après une bonne journée de marche sur les pavés de Rome, ce détail est vite oublié !

Thank you, Silvio! We had a great stay at your apartment. Everything was simply perfect! We liked the location: very quiet and near everything at the same time. Vatican is 7 minutes away, Piazza Navona is 15 minutes away and Roman Forum is 25 minutes of easy walking. We didn't want and didn't need to use any public transportation. We definitely can recommend this apartment to everyone. It worked perfect for my family of four.

The experience was excellent. The apartment was impecable and very centrally located in a very nice and safe part of town. We were able to walk everywhere from there, in some cases we took that bus, but it was our choice.Silvio, our renter accomodated us to have an extra bed in the living room as we were traveling with 2 teenage children. He went way out of his way to help us in many ways. He gave us great guidance as far as restaurants, places of interest in Rome worth visiting and even with parking for the rental car we had with us...He is a very polite, kind and helpful renter. We will definaltey go back to stay at his place. I have to admit, we were a bit worried, because we did not know what to expect, as I had booked this online, but it was more than we expected. I would absolutely recommend going to his place.

We (three travelers) are absolutely satisfied of renting this apartament, in which we spent one winter week in January 2010. We found everything we wanted there and even more - from needles and thread to ADSL Internet. The whole flat is very clean, newly decorated, and cosy; it looks as good in reality as in the photo on the website. Both the kitchen corner and the bathroom are very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, etc.
Additionally, the apartment has a fantastic location. It's close to Angel's Castle, Tiber River, Saint Peter's Square and the famous ancient center of Rome. While it's impossible to see all the attractions from the windows, because they face the inner courtyard, the lack of a ‘bellavista’ is compensated by something unique in the center of Rome - quiet in the night.
It's worth adding that the apartment is in quite imposing building with a big solid wooden gate, and an elegant hall with porter’s lodge. The inner courtyard mentioned above is very well kept with green plants in big flowerpots and has a feature we particularly admired - a beautiful antique, pre-war lift.
Around the building there are many ‘ordinary but great’ pizzerias and trattorias where local people (not only tourists) go to eat, drink, and chat. There is also metro station (Ottaviano) on resonable distance (about 12 min walk), supermarket nearby and a lot of shops, especially those with cloth.
The apartment's owner, Silvio, speaks fluent English and is a very friendly and helpful young man. When we arrived he helped us to setup our laptop with his network and during our stay, although he was at the moment working in Naples, kept in touch and gave us useful information by e-mail.
