TOURIST DUES
Cleaning expenses: 20€
Deposit: A security deposit (150€) will be requested at the begin of your lodging. The amount will be completely refunded upon check-out, pending the apartment condition check with exception of eventual damages.
Animals: Animals are not allowed.
Smokers: it is possible to smoke only on the balcony.
Guest interaction: we will be happy to assist our guests with information and suggestions about their stay in Rome.

CONTRIBUTION TO STAY
Please note that from 1 January 2011, a city tax owed by those staying in accommodation of Rome Municipality (excluding hostels has been applied). The owner of the apartment is responsible to provide the fees (€ 3.50 per person per night for up to 10 days) to the administration of Rome Municipality.
The cost of "city tax" is, therefore, a "mandatory fee" for anyone who wants to stay in Rome for tourism purposes.
Therefore, the estimates made by Insula Vaticana will be added the "city tax", quantified according to above.


THE APARTMENT
Domus Roma Vacanze is suitable for families with children as well as for friends groups willing to spend a relaxing holiday in the Eternal City with all the comforts.
Located in a 1953 building, the apartment, with reinforced door, has been renovated on 2014 and it has been well-equipped with all the essential comfort to provide you a pleasant stay. The apartment has a triple exposure, and it is located at the 5th and last floor of the building (with elevator). You will have access to it through an external walkway facing Via Tuscolana. It has a Balcony with a wonderful landscape and where you could have your breakfast and dinner on  spring or summertime.
The house is composed of:
·         Separate kitchen, with cooktop (with four hobs), fridge and freezer, traditional oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, dining table for six people and a TV.
·         2 bedrooms with two beds per room (wrought-iron beds, with staves and comfortable mattresses and pillows. 
·         Living rooms with a comfortable three seats couch (which exceptionally can be turned into a sofa bed for two people), a table and a TV.
·         Bathroom, with shower, washing machine.
·         Hallway with window.
·         Balcony.
·         More comforts: drying rack, electric iron, bed,bath and kitchen linens. Book in several languages, Internet WIFI .
POSITION
The apartment is located near the Subway Line A and several buses (In front of the main doors there is the night bus stop). In three minutes you can reach the Subway station “Numidio Quadrato”, which allows you to reach all the main attractions of Rome: Vatican Museums and San Peter Church, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori, the Colosseum and the Fori Romani (10 minutes). Domus Roma Vacanze is 30 minutes far from the Fiumicino Airport and 10 minutes from the Ciampino Airport. The apartment is near the train station Termini (10 minutes by subway) and the other main train stations (Tuscolana and Tiburtina). Ostia and the sea is far 30 minutes by car, and it is possible to reach it also by the tube and the train. Close to the apartment there are several supermarkets, the movie theater Atlantic, pharmacies and many clothing shops. In two minutes walk there is the historical open air market, where you will find fresh meat and fish and enjoy the Roman way of life.
In 5 minutes by feet there is the wonderful historical Parco degli Acquedotti, that you probably admired also in the Academy Award 2014 winner movie “The Great Beauty”: a huge archeological and naturalistic park with the amazing remains of the ancient Roman Aqueduct which extends itself along the park among the characteristic Mediterrean pines. The park could be visited by feet or renting bikes. It is connected with other naturalistic Roman parks as well, such as Caffarella, close to the ancient Via Appia with the Roman catacombs and other historical ruins. Near the park there is the Villa dei Quintili, where you could take a walk in the amazing Roman villa ruins, along the Roman countryside which has inspired many artists.
In 10 minutes by car (or by public transport – with subway line A direction “Anagnina” and the buses) you can reach the famous Castelli Romani and Frascati, Marino, Ariccia, Castel Gandolfo (Pope's summer residence) and taste the wine, the porchetta and many others local specialties in the characteristic “fraschette”.
You can easily reach both Tor Vergata and La Sapienza Universities. In few minutes (3 metro stops) there is Cinecittà, the famous movie set, the “Hollywood by the river of Tiber”, you can reach by feet and have a pleasant walk on Tuscolana street, the historical Roman street full of shops, where you could live the Roman atmosphere as a Roman citizen, with the same spirit that liven up the Romans. On the same way to Cinecittà there is also the the cozy shopping mall “Cinecittà Due”. 
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Quadraro is an historical neighborhood of Rome, and it gets the civil merit badge, as during the Second World War it was a Resistance critical hub and the people who lived there were victims of the tragic Nazis combing. In the Quadraro neighborhood you will find a big selection of restaurants, pubs, clubs where you could taste the typical Roman food, as well as the oriental ones, the fusion kitchen or the south american ones.
CONVENTIONS
The Domus Roma Vacanze could arrange for you a comfortable and economic transfer from and to the airports, and arrange conventions with several restaurants (close to the apartment as well in Rome centre), coffee shops for breakfast or happy hour.
Upon request , close to the apartment there is a affiliated garage where you could park your car.
Upon request we have the possibility to arrange a dinner with a personal chef, who will prepare you delicious Roman and Italian dishes: he will explain you how to use ingredients and all you need to know about food preparations so once back in your country you could prepare them again and make good impression with your guests (price and menu to be agreed upon)
