Lovely apartment set in the heart of Trastevere, nearby Santa Maria in Trastevere, few minutes walking distance to Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Pantheon. Ten minutes walking to Saint Peter's.;
85sq.mts., the apartment is set on the 5th floor with elevator and consists of:
LIVING ROOM
With sofa, single bed, 1 armchair, Tv set, CD player, bookshelves, 1 cupboard, 2 windows on the internal courtyard, A/C, kitchen corner stairs leading to loft ;
KITCHEN CORNER
Open on the living room, fully equiped with table and 8 chairs, gas stove, electric oven, sink, big refrigerator and freezer, microwave oven, dish washer.
2 BEDROOMS
#1-With double bed (160 cm width), 2 bedside tables, 1 walking closet, 1 arm-chair, 1 window on the internal courtyard, A/C;
#2- on loft, open on the living room with 1 double bed (160 cm width), 2 bedside tables, 1 desk, 1 chest of drawers, A/C.
BATHROOM
in the corridor, with large shower/ bathtub, 2 sinks, WC, bidet, washing machine;

Spacious and beautiful apartment with loft in the very center of Trastevere.
Few minutes walking distance to Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Pantheon. Ten minutes walking to Saint Peter's.
This apartment is very well kept and offers all modern amenities.
The condominium terrace is on the top floor and features some chairs, tables and sun umbrellas for a common use. The view is beautiful, over Roman Domes and monuments.

To be candid, the flat was very nice and comfortable for us. Very well-located, too. However, I'm disappointed that the owner was non-responsive. She has never replied to any of my emails. For example, she never replied to my email regarding the final payment. Instead, the woman who met us with the keys asked for our cash payment. When I asked for a receipt, she said she couldn't give me one. This did not feel professional and made me a little anxious.
In addition, the second bed in the loft was not made up with sheets and we had to search for them. We also had no hot water our first morning. When I called the owner, no one answered and there was no voice mail. I figured out (on my own) that we had turned off the switch to the hot water heater by mistake. Again, instructions would have helped to resolve or avoid this issue all together.
We have enjoyed the flat and the service we've received from Roman Reference. However, I'm not sure I can recommend this specific flat to others given these and other minor annoyances, such as:
- No one answered our call when we first arrived in Rome regarding meeting to get the key. Had to call Roman Reference office instead.
- Hand-held shower spray in tub did not work
- Could not get blow dryer to turn on
- No bowls for cereal/yogurt/ice cream
- Total of 5 clothes pins for hanging out wash
- WiFi could only accommodate 2 devices (e.g., laptop and iPhone) at one time. We had two laptops, an iPad and iPhones and had to toggle between them
- Washing machine would mysteriously stop before final rinse and spin. Had to manually move knob forward to complete cycle.
None of these were enough of a problem for us to call you, but it was annoying. And again, the owner never responded to any of my emails or calls (no voicemail, either, so couldn't leave a message).
In comparison, we are now in Venice and the owner of the flat we are renting here has been in touch with me via email for over a week regarding our arrival. He was in Rome while we were there and we met him for caffe to discuss our stay. He met us today at the vaporetto, escorted us personally to the apartment, gave us a detailed tour of the apartment, and left a full set of written instructions regarding the appliances, WiFi, trash disposal, and even a list of restaurants. Plus, a written receipt showing final payment.
Per your instructions, we left the keys in the flat when we departed. Thank you for your help before and during our stay. I'm sorry I can't be more positive about the experience with the apartment owner.

Bel appartement spacieux, situé dans une zone géographique particulièrement agréable. La propriétaire est charmante.
Il manque malheureusement de vaisselle pour 5 personnes,(petits détails : pas de torchon, sèche cheveux inopérant., prévoir de les apporter)

very nice place; near to the sites but in a mostly tourist free environment. Very kind and uncomplicated owners. Tramway and taxi nearby. Would immediately rent again by next Rome visit!
