Together with my husband we enjoyed 4 wonderful days in Rome around mid November at this beautiful apartment. Rather than stay at an anonymous hotel, we choose to stay at someone’s residence, giving us a homey feeling the minute we stepped inside the door, plus a sense of how trendy Roman urbanites live. The apartment has a bit of a Mediterranean / colonial feel to it, with art decorating the walls, 2 spacious bedrooms and a kitchen equipped with coffeemaker etc – everything you could need to whip up a breakfast or quick meal.
 
The location could not be more perfect or more central, smack in the middle of the historic and very picturesque part of Rome, with many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. From the apartment it was an easy and pleasant stroll to many of the city’s historic monuments.
 
We’d definitely recommend a stay here to anyone planning to visit Rome!

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. The description doesn&#39;t really explain what a cute neighborhood this is. It&#39;s safe and there are tons of restaraunts and fun bars as well as great little bakerys to enjoy all within a stones throw. We walked to nearly all of the tourist destinations and once we realized how to use the subway, we used that as well. There is a station on the B line located within a 5 minute walk.<br /><br />Regarding the apartment itself, it was perfect. The beds were both great and the furnishings were fine. Mostly Ikea, but simple and fine. We had a small snafoo with the water which they immediately fixed. Both the rental agency along with the owner and were on it and resolved the problem immediately. There was tons of storage space for clothes and because of the high ceiings, the noise level was minimal. Since there are only 4 or 5 apartments in the whole building, there is not a lot of traffic and you feel super safe and secure inside the building. I think a family lives upstairs and some older people below. Not sure, but never heard the neighbors.&nbsp;<br /><br />The bathroom was fine and so was the kitchen. I even used the washing machine (which could have used a good cleaning) but I was just glad to have it.&nbsp;<br /><br />The only things I would note: The wi-fi was spotty. We had to reset it a half dozen times and the front door lock was hard to get into, but the building mngmt was going to possibly replace.<br /><br />Overall, for the price, I think it was a great place to stop and stay and we all enjoyed it very &nbsp;much and the service was exceptional.<br /><br />Stephanie

Es ist eine schöne, große Wohnung im historischen Zentrum von Rom, sehr gut gelegen (Bus und U-Bahn in der Nähe), in der 3. Etage mit Fahrstuhl. Sehr gute Betten mit echten Bettdecken. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und angenehm.
Es gab aber leider einige Kleinigkeiten, die den Beginn des Aufenthaltes störten. Das sämtliche Geschirr war nicht sauber, es gab nur eine halbe Rolle von Toilettenpapier (für 3 Personen für 8 Tage!), es gab keine Müllbeutel, anstelle von Geschirrspüller stand eine Flasche von Intimgel (sic!), es gab keinen Kaffekocher (d.h. es gab zwar einen, der war aber so entsetzlich dreckig, dass man lieber die Finger von ihm lassen sollte), die Spüllung in der Toilette funktionierte nicht, Wasser floss die ganze Zeit und musste immer wieder abgestellt werden.
Nach 2 Tagen haben wir uns mit allem arrangiert und es hat uns nicht wirklich gestört,
doch zu Beginn war es einfach unangenehm.
Die Verwalterin der Wohnung war sehr nett, sehr pünktlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt war es eine gelungene Aufenthalt, die erwähnten Details müssten aber dringend in Ordnung gebracht werden.

Perfect place in the perfect location. Monti was the coolest neighborhood in Rome that I had stayed in, so far. The place was even bigger than I imagined, as well. Five stars.
