Anmerkungen und Beschreibung des Wohnungsinhabers
Diese wunderschöne Wohnung ist sehr zentral im Stadtteil Trastevere, in der Via Luigi Santini befindet. Es wurde vor kurzem renoviert und befindet sich im 2. Stock eines historischen Gebäudes mit Aufzug. Es besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer mit Sofas, Esszimmer, Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, Studio mit einem Schreibtisch und einem Computer, moderne, voll ausgestattete Küche und Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche umfasst. Es verfügt über Klimaanlage in allen Zimmern, Sat-TV, Stereoanlage, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler und Computer mit Internetanschluss. Seine moderne, hochwertige Design-Möblierung, zusammen mit den hohen Decken und Parkettböden in allen Zimmern runden das elegante Apartment.

Perfection location – perfect facilities
Simply the best self-catering apartment I have ever stayed in. From location to facilities, this was remarkable. The owner was very helpful and flexible, and his thoughtful attention to detail was evident everywhere – from providing great maps and pizzeria recommendations, to use of a laptop and providing a multi-channel widescreen TV.
Location first: Trastevere is such a lively, fun place to stay. Lots of great independent shops, bars and restaurants. This apartment is very close to them all, but not so close as to be noisy. Near tram and bus routes, (especially the useful 115 to the Vatican http://bit.ly/mXHHbV), a fantastic daily market in nearby Piazza di San Cosimato (check it out in Google Streetview). And still just a 20 minute walk to the centre of Rome/ Piazza Venezia.
Apartment: Advertised as one bedroom, but could – with the owner’s approval – accommodate four people in a family. An unusual, spacious layout (but perhaps common in Rome) means you get three distinct rooms, plus kitchen and bathroom. The living / dining space is very light and cool, with an excellent, super-easy-to-use comfortable double sofa bed. In the bedroom, the double bed is actually king-sized, and the room has lots of interesting books, should you want a quiet read. The third room (accessed from the bedroom) has wardrobes and clothes storage, and the desk/ laptop set up, as well as a large sofa. Each of these rooms has an independent air-conditioning unit. They are obviously well serviced and worked well.
The kitchen, though small, is perfectly kitted out. My one gripe (but only a small one) was that some of the utensils are, inevitably, stored so high up that you need to be very tall to reach them, or use a step-ladder. A washing machine was also available in a little space opposite the kitchen, and the owner had so kindly provided all the useful detergents and supplies for the washing machine and dish-washer (not always the case in self-catering apartments). The bathroom is beautiful – one you would love in your own home, with great quality shower and bath.
Please – if you stay there – take good care of it, because we want to stay there again when we return to Rome!
