Anmerkungen und Beschreibung des Wohnungsinhabers
Das Casachica ist ein hübsches, zentrales Apartment das bis zu drei Personen beherbergen kann – hier haben Sie Freiheit und Gemütlichkeit in einer privaten Unterkunft mitten im Viertel von Esquilino, im Zentrum der Stadt Rom. Das Apartment befindet sich in einem Gebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, welches im Umbertino-Stil erbaut wurde. Von hier aus gelangen Sie schnell zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie dem Kolosseum, der Piazza Venezia, dem Forum Romanum und vielen mehr.
Das Apartment verfügt über ein großes Doppelzimmer mit einem Ehebett, ein Wohn- und Esszimmer, eine Küche und ein Bad. Die Küche ist komplett mit allen nötigen Utensilien ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Teekanne und Kaffeekanne). Die Bettwäsche wird Ihnen zur Verfügung gestellt. Des Weiteren finden Sie hier Touristinformationen, wie Stadtpläne und Prospekte. Wenn Sie mit Kindern reisen, nächtigen diese kostenlos, wenn Sie kein eigenes Bett benötigen. Das Viertel von Esquilino, in welchem sich das Apartment befindet, ist sehr zentral gelegen. Hier sind alle möglichen Dienstleistungen vorhanden. Geschäfte und Restaurants finden Sie an jeder Ecke. The price was not transparent: hidden costs of "city tax" that were not mentioned anywhere.
a very low standard of appartment for what we paid: faulty boiler and shower with no hot water. Bad smell all over. Many other hazards (see: kitchen). Unwashed bed covers.
We survived but just. And we wouldn't send there our worst enemy. AVOID!!!! It doesn't deserve any stars, but the site wouldn't submit my review until I select that rating.

Cheap in comparison to other places, but it comes at a price.
A shabby looking place with strange paint on the walls and even stranger kitchen and toilet area. I wasn't bothered by those though.
What bothered me most was the fact that the owner didn't highlight the fact that there are additional costs (city tax paid per day and multiplied by the number of people) that increased the price significantly. Apparently that information is somewhere there, where you can't see.
Neither a mention from them about the faulty shower and boiler that make it impossible to take a decent hot shower. Hot water is just dripping and if you try to turn it up, the water gets cold. Once the boiler broke down and we had to skip washing that day. The key holder is helpful but if you've got plans and limited time to enjoy the city, you shouldn't have to worry about preexisting issues and wait for them to be fixed.
The electric kettle is faulty too, but we boiled the water on the hob.
Good selection of blankets that have seen better days...
Overall, I would not repeat the experience. Not until the price is clear and transparent on the website, the boiler and shower fixed, blankets washed, because so far you get very little for the price you pay.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The owner welcomed us and the transaction went very smoothly. It is located in close proximity to termini which gives you easy bus access to any place in Rome and most importantly to the airport. We took the bus service to the airport and that saves you about 10 euros per person. We even met a couple of the neighbors in the building and they were very kind, gave us many tips for moving around Rome and assured us the neighborhood and building were both very safe at all times.
