Detailed Description 

The apartment is located in Garbatella, a very typical district which was developed at the beginning of the last century on the model of the English garden city. The district combines the original features of extraordinary architectural and social interest with the vibrancy of many places of cultural and gastronomic encounter.

The apartment is at three metro stops from the Historic Centre of Rome and at walking distance from the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the Catacombs of San Sebastiano, the Park of the Appia Antica and other places of historical interest.

A half hour train ride takes you to the seaside where you can also merge in the wonderful atmosphere of Ostia Antica, the harbour city of ancient Rome. 

Supermarket and shopping district just 100 meters from the apartment. EATALY’s store, offering a wide selection of best Italian food and drink at reasonable prices, is at walking distance. Farmers Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays a few blocks away, in the heart of Garbatella..

Good trattorias where you can taste the traditional Roman cuisine and some recommended pizzerias are nearby.



General Amenities of the apartment: 


Small apartment building. Very quiet apartment: only in the living room, sometimes, you can hear the sound of the closing door of access to the condominium stairs. PVC window frames ensure thermal insulation in winter and summer. 

The apartment, 85 sqm on the ground floor, consists of three rooms separated by a hallway from which you have access to the bathroom and the kitchen. A private outdoor space of over 100 square meters is for the exclusive use of guests.

The three rooms are equipped with air conditioning (hot and cold). In addition, all rooms, including the bathroom, are equipped with central heating, adjustable room by room.
In warm seasons it may happen that mosquitoes from adjoining gardens fly to the green space outside the apartment. 

The owners live in the same street and make themselves available to facilitate your stay, including tips on places of interest, shopping, travelling outside of Rome, etc.


#1 Living Room:

First living environment, which is accessed by entering the house, is equipped with:
• 1 two-seater sofa and 1 French size sofa bed;
• 1 built-in wardrobe in the entrance area, with hangers and shelves;
• 1 bookcase with shelves and doors for guests use. Books, CDs and DVDs are available to guests
• a cabinet with drawers
• 1 TV with DVD player;
• a small stereo system;
• Two tables;
• Central lighting and halogen floor lamp
• window with sliding doors and curtain.

#2  Living Room :

The second living environment, which opens on outer space with wide sliding doors, is equipped with:
• 1 french size sofa bed
• 1 table with with six chairs;
• 1 cabinet with six drawers and a bedside table with two drawers;
• Central lighting and table lamps.

The bedroom:

The bedroom opens onto a small balcony that communicates with the outside space and overlooks a garden. It is equipped with:
• a French size bed;
• Two bedside tables with night lamps;
• a  sofa;
• a wardrobe with hangers, drawers and shelves.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with

• gas hob,
• electric oven,
• fridge with freezer,
• dishwasher and washing machine. 

It 'also equipped with:
• kettle,
• coffee maker,
• dishes,
• glasses,
• Cookware and utensils.




Disengagement:
The hallway has a built-in closet with shelves. Ironing board, iron and cleaning supplies are inside. Some shelves are empty, at guests' disposal. 

Outer space :

Outer space, equipped with table, chairs and outdoor lighting, combines a wide paved area with a smaller green one where a palm tree, a lemon tree and other plants grow. Tall trees grow in adjoining gardens. A sliding curtain can partially shadow the paved area allowing its use also in hot weather.
