There are plenty of restourants in the surroundings as well as little ridde gems such as boutiques, galleries and cafes. The Colosseum is 5 minutes walk away and the rest of the centre can easily be reached with a short walk.

After a long phase of redevelopment is now a Mecca for all the young tourists traveling to the capital . It borders the Rome of the Roman Forum and the Esquilino. A short walk from the neighborhood there are the magnificent basilicas of Santa Maria Maggiore from the characteristic cosmatesque floor and San Pietro in Vincoli which houses the famous Moses by Michelangelo and the Colosseum.
