Bierini, Colourful apartment in private house: Riga Ferienwohnung #101Riga

Brand new Studio apartment with all necessary belongings and private garden for recreation. 
2 bicycles 5Eur/day are available and you will see more different places in Riga. Public bus stops next to house (15 min to Center) 

The Space

You will stay in house which is built by my great-grandfather before WWII - 1936. This was typical workers house of that time with 4 apartments. 

This apartment was completely re-planned and rebuilt and from March 2015 it is available for living (first visitors can make reservations starting from 27.03.2015). It has its own facilities which you can see in pictures (all necessary living equipment like dishes, teapot, hairdryer, cable tv etc will be placed with first visitors). Apartment is 36sq.m large. It has Pull out sofa for 2 persons, but on request you can get infant bed and/or Dormeo roll-up (140x200) mattress for 2 extra people (4 people stay is possible but it will be tight). Cot for baby is available free of charge.

Guest Access

You will have 24/7 access to lockable private territory and depending of season you can enjoy benefits of private garden - arbor, grill, trampoline, apples, berries etc. Available also private parking for a car.

During season I will have 2 city bikes which you can rent for 5,- EUR per day. Together with bikes you will get suggestion for best spots which are not visited by tourist "ordinary". If you will want to see countryside I will help to get you a good deal for a car renting.

Interaction with Guests

I with my family live on the second floor and we can help you to explore Riga as good as possible (of course if you will want it ) :) On apartment you will find list of places in neighborhood and some maps and brochures for sightseeing places in Riga. 2 bicycles for small extra charge are available.

The Neighborhood

You will live in silent and safe district of private houses but in the same time you will find all what you need in a stone's throw distance. 
Grocery: 5min/400m 
External eating place: Local restaurant for all meals 2min/100m or Cozy cafe for breakfast, cakes and snacks 5min/400m 
Local district center with market, different shops and cafes 1.5km (can go by foot or by bus)

Getting around

Getting to apartment: 
From city Center with bus Nr.7 or Taxi (5,-EUR). Suggest to choose Green Airbaltic taxi, Yellow Panda taxi or Red cabs. 
From airport better take Taxi (5,-EUR).

Transportation to city Center: 
Bus stop next to house (15min/1,50EUR) 
Taxi on call (5min/5EUR) 
Bicycle 20min

Transportation to Jurmala: 
20 min walk to train station and 20min train ride 
Taxi on call 15EUR.

Other Things to Note

For a pity we haven't arranged good quality Internal access road (sand road which can see in pictures). During dry or rainy season you will face to difficulties to pull your suit case. Luckily it is short distance (only 30m) and you will face to this matter only twice :)
