Independent heating, AC ( mobile unit), TV, dvd player, washing machine, microwave, hair dryer, cot, fans, entrance on ground floor.

THE FAIRY FLAT

The flat lies in Sestiere (area) San Polo, two/three minutes on foot from the Rialto Bridge. It has a small entrance at the ground floor and an internal stone staircase leading to the first floor where there are the two rooms, the bathroom and the kitchen. The two rooms face the Erbe canal which few meters ahead dies off to give way to the second largest square (Campo San Polo) in Venice after St. Mark square, while the kitchen windows face the campiello (little square) delle Erbe just above the main entrance to the building. The flat is fully furnished, partially with ancient furniture, and equipped and can accommodate up to 4 people and, in case of necessity, there is a cot for children up to the age of four. There is a movable air conditioning device. The entire building was the dependence of Marcello Grimani Giustinian Palace which lies just behind and to which it is linked by a covered bridge. The building has been completely refurbished in 2002, while some minor repairs have been made every now and then.
Campiello delle Erbe has only one way in and out, that means that it is very quiet as it is reached only by the people living there or somebody that goes there by mistake and then has to go back.In and off Campo San Polo there are all necessary shops including a chemist?s, a post office and a small supermarket. The area (Sestiere San Polo) and the flat are extremely nice, very picturesque and with a full Venetian taste.
It is required a reservation deposit of 20/30 %. The balance must be paid before arriving. Both the deposit and the balance must be paid through a bank money or paypal transfer as the owner does not live in Venice. The keys will be mailed to the guest's address and the arrival/departure time will be agreed time by time without restrictions of time if there are no other arrivals or departures during the day.
The washing machine is available only for periods longer than 1 week. In the bedroom I can make a double bed or 2 single beds.

Please Note: check in at the apartment has to be performed independently by the traveler, keys and instructions will be sent to you right after booking confirmation. Payment in full has to be performed at the reception of the keys and before arrival.
