I want to give you some honest feedback on this apartment.  there are chickens and stray cats in the courtyard that fight and screech all night.  The place needs a deep cleaning as well. The ceiling vent in the bathroom is filthy for example. 
I could not ever recommend that anyone stay here. 
I don't know the last time you saw this apartment or if you have ever stayed here.  It is fine, but since I didn't do research on Airbnb and just followed your recommendation I don't know if it is good value for money.  
The beds are comfortable and there is good light. The water pressure is terrific.
  We are not terribly unhappy, I just want you to know that this place has some serious downsides that you should look into.  The noise is unbelievable. A woman who yells constantly, cats, chickens- it is crazy loud a good portion of the night and day. And not city noises loud - crazy person and animals fighting loud.

Hi Patricia, thanks for your feedback. We’ll be sure to double check the cleaning again, although we have 5 stars on Airbnb for cleaning, as well as comfort. I was very surprised to hear the comments about the noises that you mentioned every night, and spoke at length with the neighbours in the building, and the adjacent building as well as the previous guests who stayed in your apartment, and had two very small children. The lady who lives on the floor above the apartment also has a baby and nobody heard any cats or any woman shouting. You must be confusing chickens for seagulls which often circle the area, given the proximity of the port – this is completely normal, and usually not enough to wake people from sleep. These are just nortmal city noises, and the windows are double glazed. The apartment is also interior, so has no street noise or traffic noise. You did mention too that the whole family was jetlagged and sometimes this influences how deeply one can sleep. Thanks again for the feedback.

If you are looking for the perfect place to welcome 16 guests, then don't hesitate! The house was great, with lots of space for everyone with a huge game room, a back garden with a swimming pool ideal for drinks / dinner / BBQ and fully equipped. Inside Barcelona city and with all the amenities and just 10-15 min from Las Ramblas by cab.

Victoria was a great host, ensured a smooth check-in and gave us good tips / recommendations on arrival.
