A luxurious apartment on the second floor of a Mediterranean villa, just meters away for a private beach, offers all the commodities of modern life, with private parking places and a balcony. Situated in a sleepy fishing village of Molunat, just south of the famous city of Dubrovnik, provides the perfect getaway from a hasty city life and lets visitors enjoy the peace and quiet of clear Adriatic see an the untouched nature and rich culture of the surrounding Konavle region.

THE APARTMENT:

This luxurious apartment stretching to the entire second floor (80m2 plus 12m2 of balcony) of the villa offers plenty of room to enjoy all the commodities one can desire while staying indoors. Guests will enjoy a panoramic see view, as well as a perfect view of the lush, green Molunat peninsula and the Molunat cove.

Visitors can expect 2 parking spaces and a private concrete beach shared only with visitors of the other two apartments. Inside the apartment one can find a fully equipped kitchen (stove, mini oven, freezing compartment, coffee machine, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle). Both bathrooms have a toilet and a shower cabin. One of the bathrooms is en-suite. There is also a washer and a dryer, as well as a hair dryer. The living area is equipped with wireless internet, cable TV, radio and CD player. The whole place is air conditioned. The bedroom has a couples bed, and the living room couch accommodates 2. There is an option to add a baby's crib free of charge, as well as an additional bed should the necessity arise.

THE MOLUNAT VILLAGE:

Molunat is a fishing village dappled with sandy beaches. The warm blue sea spotted with fishing boats, the salty smell of air all day long, the green peninsula just across the cove - this should be a paradise for people enjoying the great outdoors and looking to get away from everyday rush.

The village has a couple of restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket all within a few minutes walk form the house. There are plenty of recreational options nearby: bicycle paths, a diving club, boat rental, wine roads, horseback riding, beach volleyball, adrenalin parks, fishing, cliff diving.

The village is situated 40 km south of Dubrovnik, where the closest ferry port is located. Dubrovnik airport, Čilipi, is 20 km from Molunat, where one can rent a car. The closest town, Cavtat, is 25 km away. There are daily bus lines connecting Molunat to Cavtat and Dubrovnik.

THE REGION, KONAVLE:

Konavle is a region next to the world renown city of Dubrovnik. It is known for its agriculture and gastronomy, so the visitors must try the local cuisine, like eating eels at the Konavoski Dvori restaurant near Gruda village.

One can also enjoy hidden beaches like the beautiful Pasjača beach or finding a perfect spot for cliff diving.

Those enjoying the old can visit the medieval Sokol grad fortress just outside the Dunave village. If one desires a taste of urban surroundings, the towns of Cavtat and Herceg Novi (Montenegro) are very close by.

And, of course, the crown jewel: the beautiful fortified city of Dubrovnik, which was the stronghold of the famous and powerful long-lasting Dubrovnik Republic. Dubrovnik was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site and The Lonely Planet lists it as one of 25 places in the world one just has to visit.

Those enjoying diversity and multiculturalism will have a unique opportunity to experience this intersection of three cultures: the Konavle region is rich in western catholic culture; should one cross the nearby border to the mystical Montenegro one will encounter the eastern orthodoxy; and just a bit further the land of Hercegovina, where Christianity meets Islam.
