3 bedroom detached villa with 2.5 bathrooms. Private garden and swimming pool with panoramic views of the sea, gardens and swimming pool. Decking with sunbeds and table and chairs.  Local area has amenities such as supermarket bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The same distance to the beach 10 min walk or 2 min drive. Just minutes from the famous beaches of Cabopino (classified by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve), and its Marina. Located in the municipality of Mijas Costa, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, just 20 minutes from Malaga/Marbella and 5 km from Fuengirola. Villa description 

Entrance and living space 

Access to the villa is from the terrace where you will find the front door and to the right is a gate that leads to the pool area. As you enter the property the bright and sleek lounge awaits you, with its comfortable sofas which are positioned so that you can enjoy the distant sea views. Just behind the seating area is the dining area. 

Kitchen 

Just on the left is the stream lined kitchen with plenty of worktop space to prepare drinks and meals. To the right of this area is the staircase that leads to the lower level. 

Bedrooms and bathrooms 

Next door to the lounge is a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room. This bedroom also shares the same long terrace from the lounge, which overlooks the pool, garden and distant sea. Back to the entrance, and down a few steps takes you to the lower floor of the property. Here there is a double bedroom and a further twin bedroom. Both of these bedrooms have patio doors that lead out to the pool area. Across the hall from the bedrooms is a separate bathroom. 

Outside space 

Off the lounge there is a long terrace and to the right, steps take you down to the pool and the garden area. Here you will find the private pool with Roman steps and sunterraces. Behind the pool is the BBQ area with a sink and worktop space to prepare your favourite summer food. To the side of the pool is the partitioned wooden decked area where there is outside dining furniture for dining alfresco and sun loungers. This is a great place to relax in the sun whilst watching the activities in the pool with a cool refreshment. 

Car parking 

There is parking just outside the villa with enough space for 2 cars.
Villa location 

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa is conveniently located and set on a side road off the upper regions of the resort of Calahonda. The beach is just a short drive away as well as a wide selection of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. A short drive further along the coast will take you to the popular resorts of Fuengirola and Marbella with their array of amenities. All in all, Villa Amelia is a fantastic villa for those seeking a relaxing retreat and yet be close driving distance to the resort amenities.

Beaches 

Down the road, just a short drive from Villa Amelia, the access to the nearest beach is via a footbridge with nearby parking.

Places to eat and drink 

Before reaching Calahonda Beach there is a commercial centre to one side with shops, a supermarket, coffee bars and restaurants. The other route from the property will take you to the Calahonda strip which is full of cafes, bars and shops.

Nearby is the vibrant resort of Puerto Banus that has an array of restaurants. 

Places of interest 

Going beyond Calahonda, it is no more than 15 minutes' drive into either Fuengirola town or to Marbella in the opposite direction.

Just past Marbella is the famous yacht marina known as Puerto Banus which is open day and night and is ideal for a stroll in the afternoon or early evening. 

Shopping and nightlife 

A drive away is the famous resort of Puerto Banus that has an incredible array of yachts and cars in the Marina, and has all types of designer shops, exclusive boutiques and an endless range of night time entertainment for dancing the night away.
