Recently renovated flat with functional and contemporary furniture sleeps four people. It is located at the end of the Giudecca island, Redentore area. It can be reached with the 2 or 41 ferry that leaves right outside the train station. Get off at the Palanca stop. Two more stops and you reach Piazza San Marco. Its location is very convenient being so close to the centre, but at the same time it offers a quiet and tranquil atmosphere where you can live the true Venetian lifestyle. The kitchen is fully equipped and a nearby supermarket provides excellent meat and vegetable produce. On the channel bank, going to the Chiesa della Salute, you can eat great fish at a reasonable price ( 20 euros). Avoid the expensive restaurants in the San Marco area. Call ahead of time for reservation. The person in charge of the flat will provide the telephone numbers of the restaurants. Close to the Palanca stop is a bar with an excellent pastry selection for a typical Italian breakfast. Three ferry stops will take you to the Lido beach where you can swim or rent bicycles to visit a very interesting area of Venice that is still unknown to the common tourist.
