Une excellente surprise ! L'appartement est propre, très bien placé, la terrasse est spacieuse et surtout le propriétaire est très facilement joignable et réactif.

The apartment was amazing and just what we were looking for.  It was also a very good rate for our group.  The owner was very nice and helpful. Perfect location and awesome balcony.  I would highly reccommend this aprtment to anyone looking for a great place to stay while seeing Rome, it made our trip great.

The owner Eduardo is great and gives you much needed information when you arrive. The apartment is huge and because there were unfortunately only four of us staying (one couple had a family issue to deal with) we had plenty of room to spread out. Even if a group of six or more stay it won't be crowded.
The weather was very cold and it snowed while we were there but, apart from the first night when I didn't get even undressed to go to bed, we found the apartment to be warm and cosy. The lift, though too small to take a wheelchair, is essential because the apartment is on the fourth floor and the balcony on the fifth. We used the balcony one early evening to sample some local cheeses, crackers and salami washed down with a couple of bottles of local red wine. Obviously a highlight for us but we also sorry that our friends couldn't be there to experience it as well (we raised a glass to you Ed and Jan and also toasted Walter). 
The location is superb and all the major tourist sites are within walking distance. An extra treat is seeing the colosseum from the top floor balcony. Shopping in the Via Nazionale is interesting and varied interspersed with lovely little cafes that do the best cakes and coffeee I've had anywhere. Needless to say I put on a few pounds helped by the small friendly restaurants we found five or ten minutes walk away from the apartment. 

Would I go back to the same place? Definitely, but I think I'll try it when it's warmer.

There was room for all 9 - also by the diningtable.
The sprays in the showers would functionate better, if the owner would clean them properly.
There is a lot of noise from the street - Via Nazionale is just apart.
In the kitchen it would be a good idea to change the schrewpull and to check the pots.

Die Lage ist perfekt - kann kaum besser sein.
Die Größe der Wohnung ist phantastisch (für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder), die Terrasse einfach wunderbar.
Durch die Nähe zur Via Nazionale mit erheblichen Verkehr auch in der Nacht, war aber an guten Schlaf nicht zu denken - für Lärmempfindliche wie mich eine echte Herausforderung, unsere Freunde waren da weniger Empfindlich.
Die Dusche im hinteren Bad bräuchte eine neue Halterung für den Duschkopf.

Die Lokale in der Parallelgasse hatten sowohl einen perfekten Tagesstart (Frühstück) als auch einen guten Ausklang am Abend zu bieten.

Insgesamt absolut zu Empfehlen!

The location is perfect - can't be better.
The size of the apartment is fantastic (for 4 adults and 2 children), the terrace really beautifully.
Its proximity to the Via Nazionale with significant traffic at night, is a real challange for noise sensitive people like me, our friends were there less sensitive.
The shower in the rear bathroom needed a new mounting rack for the showerhead.

The bars and cafe's in the parallel street offered both a perfect day start (breakfast) and nice evening in the pubs.

Absolutely recommendable!

I am not usually bothered by noise, but it is very loud here. Just bring earplugs. The apartment is spacious and bright. We really enjoyed the upper deck. Beds were comfortable. Living room couches a little uncomfortable - too slouchy-. Great to have a washer and drying rack.
The location cannot be beat- walkable to most sites, easy Metro, and 64 bus to St.Peters right up block. Great little restaurants and shops as well as a Phone store (TIM)  right on the block. If you are 6 people you cannot beat this apartment.

I just wanted to say how wonderful the apartment was!

Edoardo and Angela were lovely to us and the place could not have been better. It really and truly was our home away from home. It meant so much to my family to be able to hang out together like a real family while on holiday. The apartment has a really good vibe and we enjoyed it fully. We spent almost every night upstairs on the terrazza recalling the day and making plans for the next day. I just cannot say enough.

So, molto grazie and we would highly recommend it to other guests.

Hopefully one day we can return and stay there again. We loved it so much.

Appartement idéalement placé, à proximité immédiate des commerces et des bus, permettant de visiter facilement tous les must de Rome. Les pièces sont spacieuses et joliment décorées; la terrasse est située à l'étage supérieure avec une belle vue. L'accueil est sympathique. Dommage que le bruit de la rue soit si gênant, l'appartement étant situé presqu'au coin de la via Nazionale, artère très passante même la nuit ; l'appartement est très mal insonorisé.

This was my first experience renting an apartment in Rome and I was very pleasantly suprised. This apartment was far better than I expected. It was spacious and well furnished and very convenient for getting around. The owner met us on arrival and was very pleasant and helpful and recommened some excellent local restaurants. My only negative comment was the noise. It is very close to the junction of a busy road and the traffic noise continued well in to the night which made it hard to sleep for the first couple of nights although the children slept through it without a problem. I think noise would be a problem with any apartment in central Rome and wouldn't stop me renting the place again - the pros far outweighed this minor con but worth knowing if you need quiet to sleep! Maybe bring some ear plugs!

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!!

The apartment was incredible. It was perfect for the 9 adult travelers on this trip. Centrally located and close to lots of great restaurants. The apartment with it's double doors, beautiful living room ceiling (the light fixture is a bit distracting), the large bathrooms (loved the one with the green tiles) and the terrace were great. We had a marvelous time!!!!!

Paola from Roman Reference was incredible in helping me plan the trip. Edoardo and Angela from the apt were stupendous - even arranged transport to and from airport.

One suggestion, maybe supply written directions for the dvd, washing machine and dishwasher. Other than that, it was fabulous!

Thanks to all!

I hope to return to beautiful and romantic Roma very soon.

Everything we expected, lovely spacious apartment and great area. Slight problem with heating but it was rectified very quickly.

The apartement was nice and the terrace sunny. There was a lot of streetnoice wich didn't bother us even not in at night. Via Serpenti is central location to visit the most important and interesting points in Rome, with nice places to east and drink even a Jazz café nearby.
The owners were very helpfull and friendly even in the middle of the night when we arrived. We only missed a place to dry the towels in the bathroom.

L'appartement nous a plu énormément. Il est remarquablement situé, très spacieux et décoré avec goût. Les propriétaires sont charmants.
Le seul point négatif est le bruit. On entend notamment des sirènes de voitures de police à toute heure du jour et même de la nuit.

A beautiful apartment with a fantastic location. We were a party of seven adults and one child and it was very spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed provided. Would highly recommend.

Appartment was clean and spacious. Convienent for shops and colloseum. Good for families as lots of room. A kettle would be useful otherwise well equiped kitchen. Shower curtain needed in bathroom with bath. Thankyou very much

Nice apartment, but it was a disapointment that the terrace wasn't on the same floor as the apartment. should be spesified. the showers in the bathrooms were not good. One too low the other with showercurtain that resulted in water all over the floor. no redwine glasses!
Rome is a lovely town - we will be back
Owner's notes: We have a bathroom with a bath tub, the other has shower with a curtain until the glass box will arrive. We have champagne glasses, good idea to add those for red wine. We'll buy it as soon as possible. Thanks of the evaluation that helps us to offer a best service.

As observed by some other guests, the road noise can be rather intrusive, but nothing that ear plugs can't fix. Otherwise the apartment was clean, huge (very comforably accommodating our group of 8), and had everything we needed. A supemarket round the corner, cafe two doors away, a comfortable distance from the metro. The owner was friendly and helpful.A special thanks to Paola, who was helfpul, super-responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Grazie!
