Joseph's apartment was exactly as he described, only more opulent. The antiques and decor are beautiful, it is excellently appointed with facilities, is spotlessly clean and close enough to the city highlights to walk - although the metro station is only 200m away. Joseph made himself available to give advice and recommendations for eating, transport and activities. He was also very useful when the language barrier presented itself! We will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Not only is the location perfect but so is Joseph's home itself. It is very roomy, comfortable, relaxing and worry free. It made a huge difference with our stay especially traveling with our 2 daughters. It is exactly what you see in the pictures but what you don't see is the actual floor plan and size of this place! The living room is so spacious that my husband and i had room to relax on one sofa while the girls played in the other end of the room. It can also be closed off so it turns into another bedroom with the sofabed in it. Lots of big windows that opened into the courtyard by the kitchen and bedroom, and the living room windows opened to the quiet street. You wouldn't even know you're in the middle of everything. I loved the kitchen with the ample counters, nice gas cooktop,big fridge, and quiet Bosch DW. Don't pack too much either like I did, we washed almost every night since the wash machine was so conveniently located in the kitchen. If you're staying a week, pack about 3-4 days clothes. Save the room for shopping! Every morning my husband would walk down to the boulanger, there were 2 nice ones close by (we liked Dalloyau) on Rue Fauborg, and we would have fresh croissants and quiche every morning. Everything is close by, the metro a block away, Champs Elysee - 2 blocks, Rue de Fauborg- 1 block, the presidential palace and govt offices are right there. Very safe area, lots of police presence. It was always a pleasant walk to wherever we went. If you look at a map of the area, and to give you an idea walking distances, it's a 10 min walk to champs Elysee if you head west in a straight shot from the apartment (via Penthievre-Collisee). Joseph was very accommodating and helpful all throughout the booking process and beyond. NO need to worry, he's the real thing. I found my home away from home in Paris. Thank you Joseph for a wonderful stay.
