80 sq.mts apartment set on the first floor with private staircase is composed of :

Stylish artists-home on the raised ground floor in front wing of a well kept traditional Berlin tenement of 1885. Parquet flooring and historical stucco ceilings. Individually equipped with various modern art originals and creative details. Access through own private staircase. Beautiful garden. Potsdamer Platz, Kurfürstendamm, Nollendorfplatz within walking distance. Owner uses the apartment when it´s not rented as artist-studio. When it is rented, he lives in another flat in the same building.

* Comfortable double-bed (160 x 200), fold-out materasse for 3rd person.
* Living room with library, fireside, recliners and sofa.
* Digital TV, Stereo with i-pod docking station, and Wi-fi access free of charge
* Roomy eat-in kitchen with large dining table. Fully equipped with electric oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishes (from wine-glass to fryer), cutlery, electric kettle, coffee machine and toaster, which makes it well suited for self-catering.
* The white-tiled bathroom with WC is equipped with washingmachine, dryer and hairdryer. The bathtub has a glass showercabin and can also be used as shower.

Location / surrounding area
Winterfeldtstrasse (between Frobenstrasse and Potsdamer Strasse). Centrally located in colourful West-Berlin quarter of Schöneberg (“the Soho of Berlin”) with various shopping facilities, vivid culture, hood and nightlife. Brisk and beautiful market place (Winterfeldplatz) with typically urban flair. Near by mixture of second- hand bookshops, cafes, bars and several gastronomy (wide international range from sushi to pasta), art shops and small trade. Many artists live here. For your household needs there are several bakeries, groceries an organic butchery and two supermarkets around the corner. Bank and Post-office within 500 meters. Two stations from West-Berlins fancy shopping-Street Kudamm with the famous KadeWe, 7 minutes per bus to Potsdamer Platz with its cinemas, theatres, museums, concert halls, shopping mall and the Kulturforum.
Transportation
Subway-lines, buses, nightbusses and Taxi stand close by. Nearest Subway station (500 meters) are Nollendorfplatz (U1/U2/ U4) or Bülowstrasse (U2). Closest Bus-Stations (50 meters) are Goebenstrasse or Bülowstraße. Next motor way-exit Innsbrucker Platz is 3 km away. Public parking lots (free of charge) are available in the area around the house.
A locked private parking space can be rented in the yard next door for 10 euro/day.
From Schoenefeld Airport you can take Bus SXF 1 to Südkreuz and then bus 106 into direction Seestrasse. Get off at the Stop Bülowstrasse or Goebenstrasse. Winterfeldtstrasse is right in between.Instead of taking SXF1-bus (especially after 23:00 when the SXF-Bus doesnt´go anymore), you can also take Bus X7 into direction Rudow, and get off at Kleistpark. From there you can either walk down or go one stop by Bus 187 into direction Turmstrasse and get off at Goebenstrasse. Winterfeldtstrasse is just a few steps further on the left side. The Apartment is on the left side of the street.
