I stayed 3 weeks in this very quiet flat, located apart from the streets. It is very convenient for 2 persons, well furnished and pleasantly decorated. I enjoyed the small green courtyard. Floria, the householder, is a very nice and careful person. 
It is in Trastevere, but not in the most touristic area. The location was very convenient for me, to go to libraries and archives, to visit my friends, to do passegiate through the city or to the Doria Pamphili park, all by foot.
I can only advise it.

Floria is great host. This is a beautiful and very charming appartment, well located, between il Gianicolo and Trastevere (and really close to each monument and remarquable place of this district) in an amazing context. It's an quiet area with beautiful edifices, and a rich and dense vegetation. It's been built on a slope, you can enter at both side (Trastevere and Gianicolo) and you have beautiful viewpoint. Stupendous at night. 
For all of this, we higly recommend this place!

Tucked away at the foot of the Gianicolo, off one of the liveliest piazzas in Trastevere, in a locked complex of buildings where one feels safe and sheltered, this beautiful apartment provides the ideal base for either work or visits into Rome, as well as a retreat from the noise and heat of the city. Equipped with all furnishings, as well as a garden terrace off the living room, you will immediately feel at home in this truly special place. I have had two extended stays and look forward hopefully to other visits. Most warmly recommended!

The plan for our vacation was to pretend that we lived in Trastevere for two weeks. We did just that in this comfortable, secure and well-designed flat with artwork, CDs and books in several languages. The neighborhood is interesting and lively with many shops and restaurants and is near the tram, buses and taxi stand. Floria, the landlady, was very helpful in getting us situated and showed a genuine desire to help us enjoy our stay in Rome. I would highly recommend this apartment for a person or a couple who doesn't have any problems with stairs or the loft bed.

I stayed in this apartment for the entire month of July 2013 while on a business trip, and I was very happy with it overall. For someone like myself, fortunate enough to know Rome already and working in the area, this apartment was ideal. It’s tucked away in an interesting residential complex perched on the side of the Gianicolo hill, which is accessible only by staircases from the street. In addition to providing a healthy bit of exercise, there is a complete absence of street noise. First-time visitors to Rome might initially feel a bit isolated in terms of location, but the tranquility is a real virtue in such a dynamic city. The immediate neighborhood is delightful – with a fine market on the Piazza San Cosimato, many excellent food stores, and plenty of fascinating street life. The vibrant nightlife of Trastevere is very close by, but the apartment is well-shielded from the less pleasant aspects of it. The parks and monuments just a bit further up the Gianicolo offer some of the best views of the city (the Parco della Memoria and the Acqua Paola) as well as wonderful landscapes for walking or jogging (the Villa Doria Pamphilj). The church of San Pietro in Montorio, site of Donato Bramante’s Tempietto, is literally two minutes away by foot.

The apartment is generously sized for one person, and ideal for a couple. It is both handsome and extremely well-designed – it’s difficult to see in the photographs, but the living room and bedroom spaces are connected by a hallway, with the bathroom strategically placed at the center of the apartment. The fixtures and utilities are all top-notch; I experienced no surprises or problems with the electrical or plumbing systems. I would especially note the quality of the central air-conditioning, which cools the entire apartment for the night very effectively running for just an hour or so. The spaces are a great example of thoughtful conception, good design, and quality construction.

The kitchen adjoins the living room and both look out onto the terrace, which is lushly planted and affords a nice sense of privacy from the courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped and very compact. As someone who loves to cook, I occasionally wished for more counter and storage space, especially when I was cooking for guests. For couples who like to cook together, the kitchen might feel a bit tight. But overall, the kitchen was very good in comparison to many short-term rentals I have occupied. With its big window over the sink, it was a pleasure to work in during the long Roman summer evenings; its proximity to the living area and opening on to the terrace made it possible to socialize with guests while preparing a meal – truly one of the great delights of living in Italy!

In terms of décor, there is ample natural light, and a fascinating mix of art and objects animates the interior. It is exquisitely curated, and gives off a feeling that is simultaneously elegant and welcoming. In this regard, it reflects the spirit of the owner, Floria. She is an ideal hostess: elegant and welcoming herself, and truly interested in her guests and their well-being. She was very organized with regard to my arrival and departure, and made sure that I understood the workings of the complex and the apartment. She took the time to give me a tour of the neighborhood, and offered many additional courtesies and resources that were extremely helpful. Based on my experience, I would gladly book this apartment for my next trip to Rome.

Floria was just wonderful and gracious. She really treated us like we were her own house guests setting up reservations and giving us a tour of the neighborhood. The apartment itsf was charming and had everything we could possibly need. It was also very quiet at night which we had not been expecting for an apartment in the city of Rome. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic place in Trastevere.  5 minutes to public transport stops though the metro is rather distant. Definately for  physically fit people cause an appartment is in a hill where a quite tall stair leads.
A flat is  not quite spacious though very cosy, interestingly decorated.
Lovely terrace hidden by the greeny plants - a nice place to have your morning coffee. 
Fantastic landlady - gives an introduction to the place and the surroundings and some tips behind the beaten tracks.
weak points - slow internet connection if it is in order.

This apartment was just perfect.  It is within walking distance of so much, from the fruit and vegetable market 5 minutes away, t small neighborhood shops, to the Tiber, to the Villa Doria Pamphili, to the Vatican. It is just removed enough from tourist activity to offer silence and repose but near enough to make it easy to take advantage of all Rome offers.  The apartment is immaculate and full of beautiful things, not to mention a lot of grear books.  The owner is welcoming, warm, and ready to go out of her way to assist her guests.  I will definitely return here on my next visit to Rome!

We spent two wonderful weeks in this delightful flat. It is in the heart of Trastevere with any number of restaurants, shops, sights, museums, bus lines, and within walking distance of most of the great attractions of Rome.

The flat is well-organized and a lovely place to hang out in Trastevere, a nice size for two people. Wireless, washing machine, flower-enclosed patio, TV, all as advertised. Its quiet, close to an open-air market and grocery stores and of course great eating places. For exercise (if you don't get enough from sightseeing), Villa Doria Pamphili is a 5-minute walk away. Bus lines and the tram are also about 5 minutes away. The owner, Floria, is friendly and very helpful with suggesting interesting places in Rome.

We stayed in this appartement for nearly two months. If you want to be living like real Romans this is the place to stay: right in the middle of the Trastevere, at the foot of the Janicolo, it is close on foot to a lot of parks, museums, restaurants, arty shops and one of th most lively area of Rome, the Trastevere. The appartment is very quiet, set in the middle of different couryards, surounded by flowers and trees. It has all the confort of modern life and is very well decorated by an owner, Floria who has been an excellent hostess and has helped us in discovering different parts of Rome. If we go back again, it would only be there.
