From this quiet home in the heart of Athens you can reach any touristic destination! Taking a walk in Aeropagitou pedestrian str. that circles the Acropoli is a must for everyone, tourists and locals alike!! All around tavernas,coffee shops & markets.

Once you enter your new home away from home, leave your luggages, get a fresh juice from the fridge and have a sit so you can check out our tips and advices highlighted on the map!! Have some rest and feel free to discover the rest of your new home which is composed of an open space living room, sitting room, kitchen and a bedroom with a double bed and an orthopedic mattress. The couch in the living room can become easily a comfortable double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped even for passionate cooks and thanks to the north position of the apartment the space is always illuminated but not hot during summer days. Last but not least the bathroom, next to the kitchen, offers everything you need for a relaxing shower and a washing machine. We can host max 5 people! You're all welcome!!

The neighborhood (THISSIO) you're about to live in, is one of the oldest of Athens, as a matter of fact taking a walk around, you will see numerous neoclassical buildings, renovated or not.
The amazing part of living here is that everything is so close:  five minutes on foot and you will reach Filopappous hill from which you will get a panoramic view of the whole city from the Parnitha mountain till the sea and the Port of Pireus, two minutes walk from your front door and you will find yourself in the famous pedestrian street Aeropagitou which hugs the Parthenon and leads you directly to the Acropolis museum and let you enter the Plaka neighborhood from which Athens begun to spread and became a  11 million citizens capital.
Moreover if you head on the opposite way you will find the Ermou street with the Gazi area at the end of it with clubs and bars, the Monastiraki area in the middle, famous for its variety of shops during the day and of bars and tavernas during the night and the Syntagma square at the other end.
What is enchanting about Thissio neighborhood is that walking and exploring all these sites around you will never loose eye contact with the monumental Acropoli! Welcome!

Thissio is a small settlement which is found south west of Monastiraki. It is close to the centre of Athens, famous for the plethora of trendy cafes and bars. Most of the Athenians are in love with this area due to its close proximity to Plaka and the traditional neighborhoods of Athens. From every part of Thissio you are promised to enjoy an amazing view to the Acropolis.

At the wide pedestrian you will often see people who enjoy a long night walk, amidst the lush surroundings. There is also an open air cinema in the area of Thissio, ideal for the summer nights.Thissio displays a unique layout with many neoclassical buildings dominating the area and today it is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Athens. One can easily access Thissio with the metro.

 Once you are out of the establishment in less than a minute you can reach a pharmacy, a grocery store, a supermarket, a florist, two bakeries and much more.
The nearest bus stop is one block away and the bus take you to Omonia square, the nearest metro station is Thissio on the green line (7 minutes walking distance) which connects to the blue line on the first stop and to the red line on the second stop. So you are pretty much everywhere you want within few minutes!! You're welcome !
